Alright so last night I met up with Joker and Jack over at In Cahoots of Fullerton. Met Joker out side and we were shooting the shit for a bit and then we went inside to meet Jack. So, Jack wants to bum a cigarette and so we go out to the back patio area to smoke. Jack’s trying to get to know Joker a little better and one of the first things I remember Joker saying the whole night is “I was just wondering which one of you guys are going to go and open that girl to the left.” Now, at this point I’m shitting balls and I know he wants either one of us to approach. Then Joker starts talking about things he notices that are strange about the place and I knew these were hints on openers. I stand there trying to build the courage to approach and blam 2 guys enter the set and it’s a missed opportunity. So, moving on after the missed opportunity Jack goes back into the club to go dancing. He’s a dancing maniac when it comes to line dancing. It’s pretty awesome. I start smoking another cigarette (serious chain smoker). And Jokers telling me about how I need to open and that it’s not embarrassing to have AA since we all have it. And then right there an 8 set of giggling tinnie boppers plop down on the seat behind us. And boom Joker goes into action. I see him open this fierce little black girl I’d give her an 8 because she’s cute with a tight little body. Now I’m not too sure what he used to open her but I’m hoping Joker will write a small FR to fill in the blanks for me. After he opens her up he engages the whole group so he’s got the attention of 3 of the girls and I’m standing there doing jack beans. I mean I haven’t got a clue on what to do. Then the guy friend of all the girls rolls in and Joker just befriends him right when he noticed him. He opens the guy by saying “Hey, why aren’t you sitting there in the middle of them?” Guy says something Joker’s interacting with the guy and teasing the girls at the same time. And then a song comes on and all the girls bounce out to the dance floor. Now this is the awesome part. The guy stays back since he’s engaged with a convo with us and one HB10 now this is a straight up Jessica Alba look alike! I notice her and the only thing I’m trying to do is not to stare. O__O! So then I try and be a good wing and start befriending the guy so Joker can take the girl. Now I don’t know what Joker’s interaction with the girl was but just watching it was awesome she starts kinoing him he puts his arm on her shoulder and she straight dives in and hugs him. And then the girl’s friends drag her to the dance floor =( alright so we move on. We go inside the club and start looking around Joker takes the lead. He’s telling me it’s my turn to open and I’m trying to pump myself inside to do it. So he points out a 2 set of these tall athletic girls. And wants me to open with anything doesn’t matter. Alright so I’m nervous as hell and remembering what Joker told me earlier that you can even open with “Pepsi or Coke” that’s what I open with. Yenwen: “Hey guys Pepsi or Coke which one’s better?” Blond: “Mmm I don’t know” Yenwen: “WHAT?! How can you not know have you not tried either?!” Blond: “Um no but I don’t drink soda” Yenwen: “Now, common if you’ve tried both you have to be able to pick one!” Blond: “Um… coke.” Yenwen: “Alright how about you” points to brunet Brunette: “Coke.” Yenwen: “Man how can you guys say that Pepsi is the best!!” Yenwen: “So do you guys drink alcohol?” Brunette & Blond: “Yea but we’re not drinking tonight got too crazy last time.” Yenwen: Oh shit so you guys were here for the bull?! Brunette & blond: Laugh yea Alright so enough of the bull crap around this point I’m feeling like I’m slipping under the water and I see Joker to my right. Yenwen: Hey! (and I grab Joker and drag him in) I want you guys to meet my good friend Joker Blond: Joker? What kind of name is that? Alright so cut the shit Joker takes the blond and I take the brunette I’m trying to talk to her asking her questions and shit and basically my conversation turns into a fucking questionnaire. The whole thing lasted maybe 10 min blond walks off cuz she got a call Joker comes in to save my punk ass. Brunette is trying to figure out what happened to her friend. Blond comes back and drags her friend away. I figure it wasn’t bad for my first set. ^__^ so we go and start looking around again. And Joker sees this open set of 2 girls looking bored out of their minds! I was about to go in when another guy engages the set and snags one of the girls to teach her how to dance. Joker doesn’t see this as a bad thing since the other girl is just wide open staring off at NOTHING. Alright so I build enough guts to walk over to her and right when I get there the other guy engages her. So I just post at the bar. Joker walks in to join me so I don’t look like a total freak. (Good save homie!) I guess the guy bounced out and Joker opens. He engages I don’t remember what her hair color was but I’m going to assume she was a blond. Joker’s talking to the blond while the other girl is just chilling there so I engage her and we start talking. The whole thing goes pretty much right back into a questionnaire situation. All I keep doing is asking questions trying to hook her. Failed… So they cut out to the bathroom and Joker tells me when something like that happens move to the next set ASAP. So Joker keeps pushing me to open another set. ^__^ it’s awesome to have someone push you out of ur comfort zone. I still don’t have the courage to do it again. So we head outside I smoke a cigarette and Joker opens a set of 2 ugs and 1 hb6 while he’s doing that I’m smoking my cigarette and watching the interaction trying to figure out how to get in. Joker focuses in on the hb and I jump in to take care of the ugs. One of them is pretty fun and responsive. The other has a fucking ice wall up and it I’m not chipping jack off it. So I kinda fall out of that one and the two ugs just start conversing to each other. Joker’s doing a great job with the one hb. He starts to DHV slight and very subtle kino and some awesome story telling. Well that set bounces out and Jack comes in from all of his dancing. He’s wearing this awesome shirt he made. Looks like faux tux comedy shirt thing. Pretty cool shit. So we shoot the shit for a couple of minutes and Joker tells me I gotta make an approach in the next 10min b4 he leaves. He points out a two set of some decently cute white girls chillin in the corner. Alright he gives me a line and I walk right in. Alright so I don’t remember what they look like lol so we’ll call them hb1 and hb2 Yenwen: “Hey guys! It looks like you guys are having fun hanging out in the corner” HB1: “yea we are we’re just resting from dancing” Yenwen: “Alright nice! So how many times do you guys do this?” HB1&2 “Every week” Yenwen: “ Wow that tight! So you guys must be awesome at dancing by now! This is only my second time so I’m still trying to build the guts to get on the dance floor” HB2: “well I’ve been doing this for a couple of months. And I’m still getting the hang of it.” HB1” I’ve been coming here for over a year now. You really gotta just get out there and do it.” Alright so I don’t quite remember the whole convo but I know what it was a whole lot better even though there were still a lot of questions on my end they were really responsive and giving good answers back. At this point bf and friend of hb1 come in. And straight up b4 I know it Joker’s there by my side saying wats up. AWESOME! He goes in and tries to friend the guys so I can continue and that’s when the two girls get up and leave. Too late… So, we shoot the shit with the guy for a bit and I learn more about the club and when to come for 21+ nights. We eject and Jack has already opened a set of 5!!!! Nice move. Joker and I join the set. Joker’s already seated himself next to his target. Fantastic job and I guess the group’s guy friends come in and I see Joker friend all three guys when they enter. MADD SKILLZ. I see one of the guys engaging Joker so I go over to deflect anyone near Joker. I get this Aussie guy cool guy. And there’s this German guy to joker’s right and I try to hook him into the convo by talking about beer. Didn’t hook well but Joker was doing great on his own. So this whole group is pretty engaged with each other and everything is going well. Idk remember quite what happened but something happens and the girls bounce to the dance floor. And the guys kinda meander behind them no biggie was a good time anyways. Alright and that about ends the night for me and Joker.
