Hi everyone, so as I told in my presentation post, after having broken up with my girlfriend and read The Game by Neil Strauss/Style, I began to watch Mystery in field and taking notes on how to pick up women. My first big problem is that, although I am a magician and showman, I know that I have troubles creating and feeding a conversation. This is, as far as now is concerned, my biggest problem. (Evening, 2011.12.16) So I decided to invite a PUA friend of mine (N0mbre) to stroll into different bars of Brussels and try to make contact with this or this group. My clothes were rather classical, although I had this turquoise T-Shirt on which was written "Stop to Racism". Simple peacocking, yet to be improved. Although we were chilling and having a good time, I had still approached no one until 1am. Changing bar, and having a seat with N0mbre and two of his friends, we are discussing loudly about things and others. When one of N0mbre's friend comes back from the bar with 4 absinthe, he says : "Guys, there are 3 chicks at the bar all alone...". I look over his shoulder : HB6, HB7.5 and HB8. 1st second : I look at N0mbre who giggles and says no. 2nd second : I say "Ok, these are definitely mine." 3rd second : I'm at the bar, ordering water in case the absinthe shot didn't go that well. I'm turning slightly in direction of the women and, as they appear not to really know how to prepare the glass, I make an over-the-shoulder approach : Astaldo : You don't seem to really know how to handle this. (smiling, cute neg.) Girls : Well, not really no. Astaldo : You girls are not from here, right? (Rembering Mystery's principle about the "no accent compliment".) Girls : No, we are from Paris. Astaldo : Ok, this explains everything... (smile aaaand neg again.) Girls laugh and say : could you give us some tips? (direct IOI, not mentioning the classic body language signs such as touching hair, etc.) Astaldo : Well, I can, but standing at the bar is not so comfortable for drinking. I'm with some friends here (DHV), why won't you join our table? And it is on... Confort zone reached. Leaning back, listening to all of them, negging a bit the HB8, and kino thanks to a magic trick. We stayed there, chatting about everything and nothing, my friend and I producing a few illusions, and so on until 6.30 am. Sure, one of the girls (HB8, yeah...) was quite into me, but I did not want to go to quickly. IOI's were numerous (questions, slight kino, drinks offered, etc.) but I did not want to burn steps. So no x-close. My challenge of the night was simply to find the guts to open a set and have normal conversation with them. Challenge completed. I'm slowly on my way to become a PUA and guess what : I'm proud of it. My conclusions of the evening : - I feel good in this bar situation. I can talk loudly, but no too much, and they still can hear me. - I feel proud as well : this fear has been deleted that evening. I'll try soon some others approaches to see if I still feel bothered opening sets. We'll see. - IOI's are as far as I am concerned easy to detect. And my texts being well prepared, they are even easier to vehiculate to the girl. - 3-second rule is primordial. I really need to work on this. - Great evening. |

Hey man, It's good to hear some positive responses about first night out. But always take those hard advantages. If you are getting solid IOI's and Some kino, Isolate the Target and Close. You had it by the sounds of it. But good stuff gaining what you wanted out of your night. hats off. |

Thanks man for this encouragement. Next time, I'll try a number-close approach by day-time (way harder than foreseen for this one, but I have the necessary tools to get it). And by next night-time, why not a kiss-close. |

Thanks guys for thoses kind messages. I'm working on the different ways I could close, trying to share it with my aspiring-PUA friend. As far as the #-close is concerned, I think I might use the "I have to go now, so be creative" as I give her a piece of paper and a pen. Well, whatever, we'll see kodaX : well, I think I might feel more confortable in day-game because I don't have to shout. It seems easier to communicate for me. Although I might lose the black-corner-confidence, I think I may handle this Thanks again buddies! |

Yeah i got a post in "opeing" about my daygame. Any help works. Btw no need to get flashy with a number close. I have used the same thing since i started. Rip the paper, give her a half and a pen she will know..how tell her to draw her picture of herself so you dont forget what she looks like

Good Post ! After a few months of practice try to think through what you are talking about with the girls and where is the conv, heading - i.e. are you trying to build rapport, trying to make her comfortable, transition to seducing. What ever it may be - That way you'll budget your time well. Good infield post. |
