Post subject:  LJBF to K close or better
So I accidently slipped into LJBF mode with a girl and now I'm trying to pull myself out of it. So far it's been going pretty good: negging her, DHVing like crazy (but not too much), and rewarding her when she does anything indicating something that's not LJBF stuff.

I thought it was going well, but then today I called her and invited her out and she made up a lame excuse for not hanging out and asked who I was going to go out with. I was going out with one of my buddies, but I decided to tell her:

"I'm going out with my friend **** and also the third coolest girl I know. Actually, she just got promoted to SECOND coolest girl I know... So it should be a good time! I'm sure I'll catch up with you later though. Take care."

And I got off the phone before she could really respond.

About 20 minutes later I get a text saying "I better be number #1. The End."

How should I respond? I was thinking something along the lines of "Well the position of #1 has a lot of responsibilities and duties. I'm not sure you're ready for it." Is this too much of a neg?

Any suggestiong? Or any other tips I can use to recover from this horrible LBJF hole I dug myself into?

I like that comeback to her text message and I really think you should with saying exactly that to her! Based on her text to you about her being #1 it sounds like she's hooked and giving you an engraved IOI invitation. After you send her your DHV Text message response back, I would continue slowly showing IOIs back to her and take it from there. I'd say at this point you are definately well on your way out of LJBF zone. Awesome! 8)

trizz: "Well what kind of traits do you think a #1 should have?"

After that she pretty much started describing herself. I took a page from Mystery and every time she listed a trait I just kept silent and waited for her to list more, rather than agree with her or let her think she'd convinced me. Then we had a conversation for a little bit and I felt myself slipping back into LJBF mode so I told her I had to go and I'd sleep on it before I decided my rankings.

I'm going to try to get her out this weekend (after I fill this week full of DHV stories) and go for a K close.

Off to the DHV story section for me...

You aren't escalating Kino then my friend. If she's qualifying herself, then you need to amp up the kino.

I really think you need to be escalating kino. Sniff her hair, palm read, anything with touching. God damn son, be alpha, and fucking don't apologize for being a sexual creature.

Haha, I will. But everything I've been posting so far have been phone or text based convos due to the fact that she flaked on me. Right now I'm just setting the stage for when we go out together and subtly making her regret not coming out in the first place. But you better believe the kino is on when we do.
