First set of the night:
TWO SET HB8 and HB7 sitting at a table talking. I approach walk past them, turn head
ME: "Would you guys date a guy in a wheelchair?"
They dont give me a yes/no answer, which is what i wanted - instead they gave me some "well depends on his personality etc etc" I tell them they would just use him for the "free parking".
They tell me thats not funny..turns out HB8 has a brother who is in a wheelchair. They're both pissed off. HB8 leaves, but HB7 still plays along. Trying to recover (useless at this point) I explain to her I also have a friend in a wheelchair, and that he is trying to find a gf, but no-one will date him - let it be said this is a bad example of rooting an opener.. lol
Amog approaches and I tell her "introduce me, its the polite thing to do" She tells me "I dont even know your name..." "..im alex *i force a smile* nice to meet you.." She introduces me to AMOG. I disarm him, and while im doing that HB7 leaves.
I'm optomistic - ill practice disarming the AMOG by continuing the conversation with him. It goes on for 7 minutes. At this point i had spent more time talking to a guy then too females.
Two set in the line to the bar. HB 7 and 9.
Me: Hey, are you guys infront of me? (what the hell opener is that?)
HB9: Yep
Me: *looks away feining interest*
Me: Can i get a quick female opinon, my sister wants to get a tatoo of her bf's name...
HB's: NO!!!
Me: yeh, how can i talk her out of it?
HB7: just tell her blah blah blah
HB9 doesnt answer she turns her back and starts ordering her drinks and im left just talking to HB8. HB8 gives me some IOI's, we fluff, their drinks arrive, and they leave.
I walk outside. Mixed 7 set, decide I can't end on a bad note. Open, run the tattoo opener again. It hooks, i disarm the guys, girls are all shouting out their opinions. I should move into A2, but I dont have the energy. I thank them for their advice and bounce.
Bounce to new venue. Need a fresh start.
HB8 and HB 10.
ME: hey, ahh, um.. can I get a female opinon, ah.. my sister has a..
HB: what??
ME: umm my sister is gettin..umm..a tatoo of her..uh boyfriends name..
HB: ..No..
HB: gives me the fuck off face signal.
I leave.
the pain period...gotta love it...
