Post subject:  Party bus from San Marcos to Austin. She invites me over.
My first brief encounter with this girl was while I was leaning on her car and smoking a cigarette. She walks by as I'm leaning on her car, I get off and say "my bad" then she smiles back and says "its ok" I made a mental note of her smile amongst the loud sorority-type bitches and the other hot tx state strutters (dance team girls) so this one stood out to me more.

I see her on the bus again. She happens to be sitting across from me. She is definitely a hb8 or hb8.5 kinda shy but seems friendly. At this point I am taking pictures with this polaroid-type camera and taking pictures of groups of sorority type girls in exchange for drinks, high-fiving the people around me, getting free swigs of rum and dancing to the hip-hop, exchanging cigarettes for beers with the dudes. I make sure she notices me as I interact with other people. Some Drake song comes on and I ask her:

Me: "You think Drake is hot?"
Slightly surprised for me talking to her:
Her: "Well... his music makes him hot"
Me: "You don't think he's ugly?"
Her: Laughs: Well... his music makes him hot...
Me: I guess... *laughs* whats your major (default question when I run out of things to say)
Her: PR
Me: get the fuck outta here me too!
Me: Let me guess you're black and white aren't you?

(If I were to describe her she looks like a mixed girl, like a Puerto Rican chick with the curly hair or a Dominican but she was black and white because she didn't sound hood, and had a very white-girlish attitude about her, something that only a girl growing up with a white parent would have)

Turns out we have the same major, and we're actually in the same class for PR. I think that this is a good-in so I get her number tell her we should meet up and sit next to each other in class, and then I distance myself and start talking to other people on the bus both guys and girls. We get I just end up bar hopping and running into my wrestling friends and dancing with randoms but nothing really came out of that. I did text her sometime during the night it went like this:

Me 1:11AM: wyere you at
Her 1:12AM: Who is this ?
Me 1:12AM: Woncho
Her 1:12Am: Oh lol in ailing
Her: 1:13Am: Salmi go
Her: 1:13Am: Walking

Like you, I didn't understand any of that so I didn't reply and went about my business.

Fast forward to the end of the night, its around 2:10 and we have to walk back to the bus back to San Marcos because it leaves at 2:20

Everyone is pretty drunk on the bus, me included (as evidenced by stumbling into the bars and clubs) I run into the her again on the way back to the bus and start talking to her but nothing important was being said just drunk talk, we are on the same bus again. We talk for maybe like a good 5-10 minutes and then I get up and talk to the other ppl on the bus. When I walk back this guy is all up in her space. It seem more like taking advantage of her drunkenness before I get a chance to. Cock blocked. I think this is my first experience of it. I walk away start talking to other girls I come back they start making out. Oh well. This doesn't bother me too much because I am pretty drunk and imagine she is pretty much the same way, also that there are other girls on the bus that I don't close with.

2 days later. I text her:

Me: you take your PR test online yet?
Her: Nope... I don't think I'm gonna do it tonight.. Did you
Me: Nope not yet. you wanna meet up and cheat off each other?
Her: Sure lol I haven't studied so what are you doing tomorrow early afternoon
Me: Hopefully not hungover. You gonna go to the raging river festival?
Her: What's that?? Lol
Me: haha it's on facebook. you should come out! its been going on from 2 and the afterparty is at some bar but im probably gonna go to 6th
Her: Look at you party animal
Me: Haha ok miss party bus.
me: you not going out tonight?
her: lol no I'm not... I'm staying in tonight... I went out the past 2 nights and I have to study :/
Me: Womp womp!
Me: Well ill hit up tomorrow have fun studying :p
Her: Alrighty, sounds good

The next day-

Me: Where are we meeting?
Her: Umm... How about you bring your computer and come over to my apartment.
Me: Lol lazy ass where you live

She tells me her apt number I set it up so I come an hour later

I show up, but I don't hug her or anything, kind of shy but I dont think it was conveyed that way, but I'm pretty sure I should have hugged her. She opens the door with a warm smile, "come in!" says something about not wanting to study in the living room and that we're gonna study in her bedroom. I'm thinking hell yeah this is a good sign. I on her bed she is sitting closer to the pillows and I get on and set up my laptop and start inching closer and closer to her. I make sure that we get close together so that parts of us are innocently touching for cheap kino so we both lay on our stomachs with our laptops in front of us and like my legs are kinda touching hers or whatever or elbows touch her leg.

I make a little joke or 2 here and there but nothing that makes her swoon all over me but what makes me kind of iffy about the situation is a couple of is some guys/girls called and she says "yeah my friend's over here helping me study" and her roommate came in from what looks like a night of fun and the girl is introducing me, "hey this is my friend woncho" I ended up staying there for 4 hours. she says there's this one event coming up thursday and that I should go to it, and we set up some times to meet up and study together. I ended up leaving around 6 and on the way out I give her a hug and she gives me a half-hug and a friendly pat on the back.

We're going to meet up again for more studying and the meeting thing. I want to turn this into something more and I have a feeling I might just be in the fucking friend zone. I know I should have done a couple of things differently like more kino on the bus and more teasing on the bed and funny questions. What do you guys think?
