Post subject:  Accidental Cock Block: Sorry!

So this is a slightly different field report but I think it may be useful:

I was in a bar with 2 work friends (1 guy [Bill] 1 girl [Rose], yes the names are made up)
I was talking with the Rose for a while and wondered where our Bill had gone, headed outside and he was having a smoke. had a chat for a bit then headed back in.

When I was coming in I saw this little fellow talking to Rose, I came over and said hello in my usual alpha way, but all smiles and not protective over Rose.

He sort of sheepishly said hello but slowly faded away and walked off pretty quick.
I said "that was a bit odd, who was your friend?"

Rose "I dont know him, he just wanted my opinion on something"
(light bulb moment for me)
"oh, what did he say?"

Rose "something about his friends girlfriend want him to throw out pictures or something"

"oh, thats it?"

Rose "he did ask if i had a boyfriend, so i told him i did, maybe thats why he ran off, maybe he thought it was you"

SHIT, sorry!

I did try to find him and say "dude dont eject so quick! Im not with her and I would have totally helped you out" but unfortunately couldnt see him.

So moral to learn from it:
Dont eject till you at least find out whos who! not only would this guy have stayed in set, i would have made him look like a god to Rose.

So if this sounds familiar, im sorry! I may have cockblocked you but dont eject so quickly!

Don't be sorry man, that's in no way your fault.

This kind of stuff is going to happen in pick up but he has to learn how to deal with it and not, like you said yourself, eject so quickly.

Think of it as you didn't cock block him but your helping him improve his game.

Every rose has it's thorn

ive met 2 other PUAs randomly (that i know of) and all 3 have been rather nervous in general so most likely just starting out. We were all like that at one point so will always give pointers and encourage!
