I did tae kwon do for about 3 years and through its teachings I gained a lot of self-confidence, courage, and other admirable traits. Here are just a few of my thoughts on this wonderful system of thought/action... The Tenets Of Tae Kwon Do: Courtesy - being respectful of others always Integrity - being true to your word and honest at all times Perseverance - never give up even when faced with adversary Self-Control - the ability to channel your strength and knowing when to strike and when to remain calm and serene Indomitable Spirit - discipline, literally nothing can dominate your soul, you are unwavering and powerful just the way you are These are just a few of my experiences with these principles.
