Being self critical and over analyzing things can be to do with the fact you may be seeking validation, which is very common amongst afc's.
An example would be that with no women in your life, if one of the first few women you approached and talked to, said to you that you are wierd. You may act insecurley
Then you may think of what she said for weeks, months or even years to come. Sound familiar? Well this is usually gone once you have enough/plenty of women in your life because then if someone said to you that your wierd, you would laugh it off with them and probably agree. As in your head you know that you have already been accepted and validated by many other girls, some even hotter than this girl maybe?!
