| Post subject: | Another Awareness Game |
I am playing a lot of games that help maintain awareness lately because I feel it is beneficial to my game as well as most aspects of my life. In my games I try to incorporate some small thing that delivers small amounts of DHV. I am poking around to find evidence that this game has some DHV value. I have not found anything concrete yet. I am focusing my search on voice tonality of question asking and alpha male characteristics. Right now my argument is very weak "questions are weak sauce" Please tell me if you can help in this endeavor. I can however say that it has helped me develop heightened awareness over the last 2 days. Rules of the game are simple, you cannot ask anyone a question for any reason. The fun and difficult part is in maintaining quality interaction without questions. The biggest obstacle was when you needed information from someone. I am doing this. Please tell me _______. I would appreciate you telling me ______. It would be helpful if I knew ______. And so on... I have run into other things and gotten past them but right now I am drawing a blank. If this interests you please feel free to leave other examples of obstacles and how you overcame them. I would appreciate it. |

Yo man! Here is my thought, unless you are a talented actor, stay away from the rehersed conversations. Sounds forced and robotic...against awareness. Imagine having a conversation with a mate and you noticed he sounded different and it was because he had planned what to say to you...wierd huh? Especially if they were words he never normally uses as he pulled them straight from the internet. If you don't want to look wierd for contantly probing someone with questions then use what you normally use with your mates...statements. Statements on things she has said, things you have noticed, things you have heard...juts make them relevant to her...even if they are not relevent they can still work with a bit of humor. Awareness comes into it's own when you insantly realize you just have to adapt your game to suite them. |

I must have mislabeled this post as "Does anyone have advice on how I can be better at being spontaneous?". The point in this isn't to directly effect my game. I don't have a problem interacting with others or being fast on my feet. I recognized that in a meditation setting it was easy to maintain awareness but maintaining was much harder when there was a lot of external stimulation. Being an "on purpose person" is critical for inner game and will help you succeed in almost every aspect of your life. I could just focus on my breathing to accomplish the same effect but that wouldn't be as much fun. So thanks for the tip but I didn't find your post very helpful. |
