I've read quite a few books on confidence building, social improvement and the like, and I'm generally impressed by the insights most of these guides give us. I believe that half of the improvement I've been consistently trying to make is coming through the knowledge of books. My favorites are: 1) Robert Greene - 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction (The latter is great but highly under-rated) 2) Dale Carnegie - How to win friends.. 3) Stone, Patton, Heen, Fisher - Difficult conversations What are yours? |

A couple of the most useful books are The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey and Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini. |

I just got done reading The Art of Seduction. It was fantastic, truly an eye opener when it comes to using seduction as a weapon. I find that the book is geared towards using seduction as a form of control and power rather than finding true joy out of the seduction itself. However, I will be using several of the techniques described in the book. |
