When the term Alpha Male is applied to a man, it refers to a type of man who is strong, smart and a leader. Other males naturally respect his decisions and don't challenge him. An Alpha Male looks and behaves in ways that make it evident that he is the leader and not to be challenged. He moves and stands in ways that show he expects to get what he wants without being questioned. The Alpha Male looks in all ways a little better than the rest of the males. He stands out as cleaner, neater, stronger, healthier, smarter and more aggressive than the other males. A man's Alpha Male body language says it all. He is strong but strong doesn't mean a lot of muscles. It means a male who gets around in the world by himself and gets what he wants through confidence, courage, intellect and high determination. He moves slowly and deliberately with no wasted motions. He stands proudly erect, relaxed -- but alert -- in all situations. An Alpha Male is generous, outgoing and cheerful with everyone, for he has no worries. The Alpha Male has confidence that he will get everything he wants and can overcome any resistance or opposition. Petty problems and inconveniences are ignored and accepted without outbursts of anger or emotion because he is emotionally stable and strong. An Alpha Male establishes his territory and holds it as long as he wants it. His relaxed and confident body language says he is comfortable there and plans to hold his territory, even if he has to fight for it. He does this for three reasons: To scare off other males who might be competition. To show the females that he is strong and is an Alpha Male. To show the women that since he is an Alpha Male, he is their best choice for sex. Instinctually for survival reasons, females seek an Alpha Male who can protect them and who will help them raise strong healthy offspring. Men who wish to appear as an Alpha Male should display the following behavior patterns: Courage Be ready and willing to confidently tackle every problem and see it resolved without complaints, emotional disturbance, or drama. Be a cool guy who doesn't get rattled over the slightest disturbing things. Persistence Keep focused on goals and apply all resources until goals are achieved. Don't give up easily. Assertiveness Communicate clearly and confidently what is expected from others and what is provided in exchange. Be ready to defend desires and opinions. Ask for what you want clearly and directly. Aggression This does not mean be argumentative, belligerent and ready to fight! It means be dynamic and do what needs to be done in a mature, well-socialized way. Just do what needs to be done and don't screw around. Good Body Posture Standing or sitting erect with chest out, head up, gut sucked in and body relaxed are signs of dominance and Alpha Maleness. Moving deliberately -- only when necessary -- indicates great self-confidence, pride and determination. Clean and Good Health Maximum health and survival of offspring requires both parents be healthy, free of parasites and have little chromosome damage. Women can use their eyes and nose to evaluate a lot about a man's health. Guys can't fake this one. Guys, if you aren't naturally the top Alpha Male in the room there are still these things above that you can do to gain a few more points with the women. You have some valuable information, now you can apply it and see an improved success rate with women. |

the term "alpha" is just a sociological delusional emotional solace created by man to feel better about themselves. an alpha male tends to just be more oblivious. Oblivious of flaws, and possesses a certain naivety of their own inequities. thinking they are the shit, while complacently oblivious to the fact that they are not the shit. (the majority of the time.). possessing beer belly and all. definitely not the most intelligent way to go about things. but non the less it works, because we live in a animalistic primitive society in the grand scheme of things. *sigh* so yeah do this guys and you'll get some chick. |

Alpha Smalpha....who cares what they call it? The man described in this post is very powerful, respectable and attractive. Alpha simply means leader and all of the greatest men in history were leaders. |

I would actually disagree with the first bit anyway. An alpha male can be extremely aware of his flaws, but rather than let them eat him up or make him nervous, he ploughs ahead anyway. thinking they are the shit, while complacently oblivious to the fact that they are not the shit. (the majority of the time.). possessing beer belly and all. definitely not the most intelligent way to go about things. but non the less it works, because we live in a animalistic primitive society in the grand scheme of things. *sigh* so yeah do this guys and you'll get some chick. If you ask the most successful people in a particular field, they'll probably know their weaknesses better than those who are less successful. The difference is, they work around them or deal with them. Self awareness is one of the most alpha male characteristics around, because it shows confidence to get over the flaws, contentment with one's self, and actually can be extremely advantageous to figuring out how to move forward in the most successful manner (play to your strengths etc.). |

A Alpha male is someone that moves with a sense of purpose and does what needs to be done for him to succeed. He is independent and does not need a woman to make him happy. Women are only along for his ride in life. He makes choices and does not regret them wether they are good or bad, he sticks by his choices and beliefs no matter who questions them. He will be happy with himself no matter how big his dick is, the clothes he wears, or the car he drives. He knows that is not what defines us as who we are. A Alpha male does not have an ego... he can admit when he is wrong and has no pride to be hurt. This is one of those subjects that can go on and on. Bottom line is be yourself and carry yourself like your proud to be who you are, thats what an Alpha male is all about. |
