Ok I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but if feels like I'm running up against a storm. I gain some ground and then I get blown back 15 feet only to get back up and try again and get blown back again. I get successes and then it seems that the failures I make are way bigger then the successes I get. I know that I'm supposed to stay positive but it gets extremely hard. Anyone have any advice they can give to get me out of this kinda mindset and help me stay positive? |

Buddhism as a philosophy can be helpful. Life is not going to go your way 100% of the time. Dealing with it is not minimizing the bad times and maximizing the good times but enjoying getting the most out of the good times and learning to live through the bad times. How do you know a turn signal is working? It's on. It's off. It's on. It's off. Just because your life isn't "on" all the time doesn't mean it's not working. I'd suggest going to your library or buying some used books online if you really need some guidance getting yourself on track. |
