After last weekend, a buddy of mine was bragging about getting a phone number from a girl he had met at a bar. I was unimpressed because I knew that I had accomplished something far greater - I had failed to get the phone numbers of ten women. Don't be afraid of making mistakes, in fact, get excited to make mistakes! Every time you blow out a set your unconscious mind gains valuable information about what not to do next time - automatically. Try going out one weekend with the intention of blowing out every single set you come across. After failing enough, you become indifferent to failing - and you might get to a point where you are even excited to fail.

I would like to add to that, WRITE mistakes down, you will forgot mistakes from 2 months ago and fall for the same traps, faults and epic fails. Write and read, keep something with you to write on, all the time

Great advice OrionMD,which should have already been common knowledge in the community.

The #'s game was probably the 1st thing I'd learned from reading picc-up articles.

I don't see your friend's joy about getting 1 #. He better hopes that doesnt lead to 1 itis(Lol).

When getting blown out dont only focus on the negatives but also focus on the positives. For every blowout you get write down 2 things you did bad and 6 things you did good. Everything you do when you approach in a set is up to you to do. Heres an example.

Bad things; Didnt match energy level, Didnt hole strong eye contact
Good things; Approached in a confident way, had strong posture, Head held high, Deep voice, acted like I was interested in the conversation, smiled.

I would reccomend a journal for this when you go out so you can fix your mistakes and be better than your last time. Journal about this and reflect on what you had improved and what your still not so good at. Then work on your weaknesses. Focus on the good things of a rejection instead of the bad. Its all up to you gentlemen to take rejection as a wya of growing and improving yourselves.
