I have this fear of making women feel uncomfortable around me. Does anyone have any good tips suggestions to get over this problem? Thanks |

Hey! Just seen your post. Yeah, I think that part of my initial trouble with AA stemmed from a misconception that "it is much better to not approach women because I mustn't bother women in anyway." I don't know bro, but I think that there is a good technique of just rewriting your own beliefs in a positive way and using them as affirmations. To be honest, I used to be really into working with dreams and shit and so the other day, it occured to me that maybe I could treat the whole idea of doing an approach as if I were in a dream. Let me explain. So, first I described the situation that had happened, that I needed to deal with-namely there was a woman who was in the park, who I felt so attracted to but didn't approach and this left me with feelings of frustration. Then I described my feelings of real panic that were attached to approaching her and the attitudes that were causing the feelings and finally took each attitude and transformed it into a positive idea. One of the main realisations that I got was that "I have been approaching for 6 months and nothing bad has happened to me so voila- approaching must be safe regardless of what my emotions are telling me." The idea being that as you shift your attitudes into a positive frame so too will your feelings. This isn't an instant fix. You have the fear of making women feel uncomfortable so I would suggest working with ideas as to why you will make them feel more comfortable because you are a confident and excellent person etc etc. They are going to feel great around you. Maybe working it into your daily affirmations or whatever. Good luck!!!! |

Hey friend, yeah, those affirmations are going fine. I have been using them for about a week and a half and they help me to feel more confident and also to redefine the frame in certain situations where previously I wouldn't have felt like the prize. How many times would you repeat them in any given one session? I am a morning person, so I don't feel their effect so much in the evening but in the morning i really do. Starting to use them has coincided with my having a few dates, may be just coincidence but I would like to think it is because of my new positive mindset! Cheers!! |

I do them about 30 minutes a day. 10 in the morning 10 in the afternoon and 10 right when im about to go to sleep. Yesterday I had a really good conversation with 2 girls and I got their numbers. It had to do everything with the affirmations ive been using and I know it. Stick to 7-8 affirmations that make you feel really good say them and youll see the results. Its all about being consistent and commited to what your doing. Cheers |
