It seems like my brain is fighting me harder and harder after a few minor successes. I'm consciously trying to fight it and force forward, but now I'm looking at women and feeling pain or no confidence. How do I fight back?

You gotta go out and have fun. Do the things you like to do. Don't worry about picking up on girls for a while. Once you're back in the groove, and having a good time you probably will see girls out and about and the desire to game will come back.

Just make sure that whatever it is you do for fun involves getting out of the house and being around other people.

Good (for socializing) : gym, cafes, sports, shopping, walking, bars, pool.

Bad (for socializing): video games, movies, long hikes, driving.

Strimpboi,

I am so pleased that you have posted that cos I was thinking it was just me.
After some success also ie a number close find myself unmotivated and thinking, well after all that, i am still here in the same situation and forget my successes.

anyway, reckon eskwire hit the nail on the head. just gotta go out and enjoy yourself with others.
I find myself thinking about this whole thing too much. it is like i am closing myself off just to get good at this although I don't take action often enough.

Either way matey, the lowest point of the tide, is when the tides turn.

Hey guys, I've felt the same way before, and alot of what your feeling has to do with other aspects in your life. If your not happy about other things in your life, then you become depressed and this spreads to other things in your life, including your game. Another thing that i think is going wrong, is that everyone expects that once reading these books and posts, goin out and gaming for a while that your gunna be a pro. You score a few minor successes and think wow im great, until the next girl rejects you and it sends ya spiraling downhill. We all need to remember that this is not a quick easy fix, most of us post on here because we generally are not good with women. So as Style said, it takes close to two years of practice to be good at something, and at least 4 to master it. There are no quick fixes to our problems, the only remedy is persistence and practice.
I think another thing that alot of people forget is the places that Style sarged in and his situation. He spent most of his time gaming in places like L.A. and Toronto, two HUUUGE cities with hundreds of clubs and hundreds of thousands of girls. Most of us arent that lucky, most of the girls we find are not involved inthe same type of lifestyle as the girls in that book. Above all else, He was a journalist and an authour, he interviewd and toured with bands and movie stars, which is about the most DHV anyone can have. Our game can be solid, but if we have nothing to talk about and nothing to offer a girl, we will not get anywhere no matter what we use. We should all start workin on ourselves, finding who we really are, find what makes us who we are and use that to find girls.
