Post subject:  Overcoming height related issues

I have serious issues about my height, and decided a post in here was long overdue :?

I did a little search for "height" in the forum search, and there seems to be a good few PUAs on here who are short. Have any of you guys had confidence-related height issues, and if so, how did you overcome them?
Being 21, I am starting to accept I have very little, if any, growth left, and I need to start accepting my height.
At (a weak) 5 foot 8, I am far from tiny, but the combination of a tall family, very tall friends (who minus me average 5"11.5), plus being at one of the UKs better Universities (which represents a more affluent section of society - who are generally taller), my 5"8 makes me feel much shorter than it should.

I know there are many examples of PUAs who are shorter than me, Style being the best example, but its not just with pickup I have these height issues, its also about being less of a man and unable to protect myself and others etc.

Sorry if this sounds a bit rambling and unstructured, but I'm not great at getting my thoughts down into words. All (constructive) advice is welcome!

Once you go out more you will realize that 5"8 isn't a bad height to be. Some wish they were as tall as you are. Height is not that big an issue in pu at all.

I used to be really self-conscious about my height on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm 6'2", and have been 6ft since 8th grade or so.

It's all an illusion man. Just like how the people with the bigger dicks are self-conscious about their size; It makes no sense and has little bearing on anything.

If it makes you feel better, I've lost out on several women I was interested in to shorter guys. If it's an inferiority problem stemming from your perceived inability to fight larger men, take some BJJ/Muay Thai classes. Remember to get in close during a fight with a larger man, to neutralize his reach advantage. Then hope he's too stupid to elbow/knee you.

5'8" is normal. If you were under 5' I'd say otherwise, but then again I've met midgets who had solid game and fucked average height women. Of all the things to worry about, height is one of the most non-issue. Try being covered in Acne and being ignored by everyone b/c you don't speak strongly.

I am around 5'3/5'4, 5'8 is about average height, also a lot of my friends are over 6 foot, its just about inner confidence rather than how you look.

GREAT call on Sean Stephenson. Also bear in mind it won't make a difference in bed ;)

Interesting... I came across this link on another forum (that has little to do with PUA and stuff) doing some Google search...

It claims to help with Height using... "psionics"? lol Cant say I know what that means but thought you might find it interesting...

I'm 6'2 and my cousin is also a weak 5'8, but he has so much confidence that I get ignored sometimes when I'm around him even though I am almost impossible to ignore. Of course, he has all but mastered the reticular activation system, so that isn't fair, there could be an elephant in the room and he'd still get more attention than the elephant.
