Okay so this is somewhat of a rant.. but not necessarily. I always loved to give advice and share my knowledge to help people out. You have to be open to this, like I'm sure many of you are, so take it or leave it. I'd suggest take it and run with it.

I know there are posts on here about this but this is my beliefs and I wanted to share them in my own way.

Basically this has to do with self-talk and attitude. I read some of these posts saying "I'm very AFC and have very little luck" or "I have a long ways to go". This may be true, but change the way it's said. I'm new at this and am continually learning is so much better. If you don't believe in yourself.. who will?

Now in this post I'm not just talking about PU. This is applied to every aspect of life.

I was brought onto positive thinking and power of intention about 8-9 years ago. To say the very least it has changed my life completely. The power of intention is such an untapped power in this world. The people that have found it and applied it have become so succesful.

Have you noticed how some people are generally always positive and seem to have everything falling into their lap? This is not just luck or coincidence. Do you ever hear of a wealthy or successful person say a negative conatation about themselves? They didn't get where they are now by saying how bad they are at whatever it is that helped them become succesful in the first place.

If you've ever played baseball for example you don't go up to the plate saying I'm going to strike out.. and if you do 9/10 times you will. Apply this theory to your life and I will promise you, you will see results.

Positive affirmations will turn your life in the direction you want to go. If you don't believe me on what I'm saying.. take my challenge. "Fake it, till you make it". There is no 'money back guarantee' to this because it will only benefit your life. You have nothing to lose.

I just read statistics of a poll on a post that was taken and the results showed that people here believe that attitude is ninety percent of PU. So why is attitude not 90% of life? Why can't you carry over your frame of mind that "I'm the highlight of your day" and the general belief in yourself into everyday life. Believe it, it can and will change your life.

I hope this can help everyone out that reads it. This is just scratching the surface. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

If you would like reading material to give you a push

The Secret by Rhonda Burne
As a Man Thinkenth by James Allen
The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks

Are the first books I'd recommend

Feedback or comments will be greatly appreciated

i've been using this somewhat as well, except instead of positive affirmations, which kinda makes me feel like i'm trying to rationalize myself, i just make sure not to use negative ones. if i hear the voice in my head say, "hey, you're a loser, you can't do this", i just say " hey fuck you, who cares what happens?"

Now, i only said that because i think different than a lot of people. positive affirmation doesn't work for me because i usually don't give a shit what people think of me or if i reach their approval. It works for most people and i think Gander's got some good advice and you'd be wise to use it. knowing how you think and how to stay confident at all times is the biggest part of the game. without confidence, your game is non existent.

Great recommendations, there's also these below which I highly recommend.

Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Shwartz
Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

I want to make a point clear though...Having and working on your attitude is great but if THAT IS ALL YOU DO IT IS MENTAL MASTURBATION & an escapism. These are supplements you use...you really need to get these attitudes in your body via action.

When I say this, it does not mean "go sarge ___ # of women" it means, immediately start to try to incorporate these good emotions in the body, be it by smiling, watching your mind, breathing control etc. For concrete exercises for these I highly recommend Sean Messenger who has very basic but practical and immediate exercises to run for yourself.

You can't have one without the other, you can try. That ultimately leads to an imbalance though. The two are connected and necessary for each other. :)

I agree.. you have to walk the walk if you're going to talk to the talk..
Actions speak louder than words.. But it's imperative to have a good attitude.
