| Post subject: | Dealing with change/and being labelled |
This is directed at the more experienced pua's out there, who have managed to hook themselves up with girlfriends friends and maintain mltrs. I know it's a problem many of you don't bother to burden yourself with, but i've always been the 'respectable' type, i do really well with the women when i delve outside my normal social circle. (Because I can be perceived differently without being judged etc.) My closer circle, however, (a pretty big one at that) i've always shied away from picking up women in their vicinity, because that's not how they've always seen me. So sort of like, leading a double life. The reason i'm asking for assistance here is because i'm afraid of being judged of being a male whore/slut (i mentioned multiple gfs to a few female friends, when the label came up and made me feel preeetty uncomfortable!!) So my question to you guys is, is that a problem any of you had to deal with? A change of perspective from friend's point of view? And how did you deal with being labelled or did you even consider that? One of the things to me is that my reputation is really important. Is the trade off worth it in the long run? I.e. having massive threesomes/orgies with many different women in exchange for being labelled something you might not want to be by close friends. Weird question, perhaps? Cheers |

I like it Hobbit. If you care about the label, there is a reason. Find out what that reason is. Or, you can just ask your friend to respect who you are; to not judge. Put in a small comment that you would prefer not to be labeled - as hanging out with people who alter your frame in a negative way is something you will not tolerate (and truthfully shouldn't!) |

One part of being alpha is to accept yourself. One part of being alpha is to merge all your "selves" into one. Think about it. People who are insecure use different "ME's" in every interaction. People who are secure use the same one. They stand up for who they are. By having two ME's you are acting insecure, because you fail to accept yourself. By trying to seperate yourself from.. yourself you distance yourself from reality. Not saying that you will become mentally ill, but you could if you keep using this kind of protective mechanism on more situations. Think about it, isnt it cool to be a male slut? Anyone: You're a fucking slut! You: Yeah, so? I love women, why should that be a problem? As long as you believe that what you are engaging in are RIGHT, then it's ok. Why should you care bout them, if they fail to respect you? Either you stay controlled and judged by those "friends", or you get new ones. Not everyone is cool with pickup and PUA, remember that. Some people believe in "true love" and "chemistry". They believe that poor ugly guys in wheelchairs can get hot women. Believe in yourself, and take the consequences, because no-one else will. |

Yeah, thanks for the tips everyone. I've been trying to clarify this with myself for a while now after reading what you posted. The thing is i'm a public figure, people know me and sort of rely on my having a good reputation etc. Well fuck me if that fucks up my love life! Lol. The reason why i'm here is because I think if I wasn't so famous in my area i could get away with a little more. But to be like those Hollywood guys out now who supposedly 'let down' society with all their drunken antics etc, that's sort of the position i'm in. I don't want to be viewed as one of them. Shit. Is this a difficult issue to resolve or what?? Maybe they actually wont give a shit as much as i'm making it out to be?? Perhaps it has to do with the initial "Image" i put out, when really i should have just said it how it was instead of being so nice and thus making everyone think i'm like that. Thanks |
