Hi. I am in the middle of reading the book Win friends and influence ppl by Dale Carnegie. Some things came to mind: The book is constantly telling me to act nice and make ppl think i am genuinely interested in whatever their up to. But i think it kind of only works with dudes \ team members \ friends in general, because i read everywhere that if u are nice to girls, they just get turned off and go fuck with some random bully? Please somebody enlighten me... Is there any book that has great manipulation concepts like Dale Carnegie but can be applied to seduction? |

'How to win friends and influence people' applies to seduction. It has to do with being good with people and showing vulnerability. You don't have to be manipulative and indirect to be good with girls or with anyone for that matter. |

Dude... you can be nice, and then you can be nice. You can say the same stuff but it's all about how you say it and pronounce yourself, body language etc. There are many girls who likes "nice guys" I swear to you. Don't get the wrong image. I've read both "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "The 48 Laws of Power." These books teach the exact same principle, except the approach is from a different mentality. HtWFaIP is about being the nice guy, where as The48 is much more Machiavellian. If you're like me and hate being the nice guy, you will prefer The48. I recommend you read both because HtWFaIP can set you up to be used as a fool by those who use The48 mindset. |

I call this, "Making illusionary gain to avoid real world pain" I respect your willingness to learn and read books, but the way you connect your other questions is you're trying to hack the system and learn how to do it without actually doing it. You can not learn this skill if you let fear dominate you. Relax, go out and mingle with people. Make some friends. Get social. Start talking with women. If you keep reading stuff and try to "learn" it by the book, you'll mess up your brains with so many unnecessary info you won't find your way out of it.
