Was talking to a co-worker who has been helping me out identifying some weak points. She basically admitted I come across as a know it all. How can I make sure I come across as intellectual/smart without being a know it all? |

Don't qualify yourself. Get her talking about herself and her interests and build on top of that with commonalities so you reward her for her investment. She will be doing most of the talking and your game will be better. |

That's funny, it's something I am aware I am doing but I think I need more in depth practical advice on how I am qualifying myself. I don't understand how to DHV vs bragging. I got advice on here before not to worry about DHVing so much, and steer away from the Mystery Method. Also, it seems I give unsolicited advice to people. Do you think that could be rubbing them the wrong way? |

Based on my experiences, those who call you a know it all are the ones who act that way. Those who call you a know it all are simply struggling to establish dominance in the interaction. To keep your feet on the ground though follow this simple rule: When a lawyer talks about the law, shut up and let the lawyer talk about the law. When the lawyer stops talking, say something like "Oh, I didn't know that. Cool." Then ask one question and then let the lawyer talk some more. When he stops talking, ask another question. Apply the same pattern to doctors, barbers, janitors and so forth. If you cannot shut your mouth, you will never know the gems of wisdom that experts and specialists can share with you. |

If she says the word "I" lke in every other to every sentence, you can get her to invest so much more cause the obvious is tht people love talking about themselves. Careful how much you say "I" though cause the one who says "I" less is higher status n holds the screening frame. Qualifying herself is pretty much the surest sign she's attracted to you. Dnt really put a huge emphasis on iois if she's not willing to move when you try to isolate or get her to qualify herself. Tht tip will work to your advantage though. USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE PIMPSLICE ! . - dasmooth |

Good day my friend,She basically admitted I come across as a know it all. How can I make sure I come across as intellectual/smart without being a know it all? The issue is not with how you are perceived but with how you perceive yourself. Look, people are annoyed by know it alls, not because they know stuff, but because they have to shove it in your face. Now take a look at your question. It isn't about creating genuine, deep change within yourself. It's about managing other people's perceptions of you. That's your weakness my friend. Why do other people's perceptions of you matter so much? Don't you know who you are? Are you not your own man? And if so, do you need to remind the world that you're intellectual/smart? Let people earn the right to discover your qualities. Remember, a rich man doesn't need to tell you he's rich. The question you should be asking is "how can I be more humble". Humility is what will allow you to come to terms with yourself, fully accept yourself, and become truly attractive. with love and respect Mack |
