Post subject:  I lost confidence today - need advice
I sort of psyched myself out today. Over the last week I've made numerous approaches and even number closed a couple of girls. I can tell you it does wonders for your confidence. However this morning when I woke up I just felt like my "luck" had run out. I kept telling myself that luck had nothing to do with it and everything I'd achieved was because of some good planning, advice from this forum and good old fashioned hard work on my part. Still I was in a negative frame of mind and while sarging at lunch time I made a couple of very pathetic approaches and felt even worse. Fortunately, I got an opportunity to approach a girl on the way home from work. She was about HB5, short but nice figure and ok face. I noticed a slogan on her t-shirt and I asked her what it meant. To cut a long story short I managed a pretty decent conversation with her, made lots of eye contact and made her laugh numerous times. I did not number close as I am just working on my approaches right now and limiting number closes to the HB7+. Of course after my approach I felt great! All self doubt was gone and I was the "man" again. I went off to the gym and had a great work out.

My question is are there any exercises a person can do to get themselves out of a negative frame of mind before sarging? Obviously if you don't feel confident then you are not going to convey this when you approach a woman.

For starters, I'm glad you said luck had nothing to do with it...There is a mindset that you need to start adapting to your game in terms of "luck"

The AFC says: "I hope I get lucky." implying they may or may not have a successful sarge

The PUA says: "Let's go get lucky." Luck happens through conscious motivation to achieve success no matter what.

Another thing...peacocking is like Superman ripping his shirt open to reveal his alter ego. When you are getting ready to go out (either for sarging or just for the day) and you put on your gear, you are suiting up just like any kind of sports hero when they put on their jersey. It gets you pumped up.

I have a playlist on my music phone that I listen too before I go sarge. It has "Party Like a Rockstar" like in one of the area51.com pickup vids and I remember all the images that show Mystery just tearing it up in clubs and bars with very desirable women.

Find whatever it is that gets you pumped and use it to your advantage! Good luck!
