Positive thoughts are great ... You need to focus your energy on positive things in order to succeed in anything. But what happens when life kicks you in the ass? Do you have the resilience to get back up? "The secret" was a cool book, very truthful in some aspects ... But they conveniently cut out the part where you get your ass kicked 1000 times before you finally "manifest". Most students come to be and their biggest fear is approaching a woman that they really like. Here's the sad but relieving truth. You're gonna fail, get rejected and get told " no" a lot more than "yes" especially when you're in your beginning stages of your journey. But you have to fail in order to succeed. You have to blow it in the playoffs numerous times to finally win a super bowl or World Series You have to embrace failure because that's what makes you stronger. I could go bankrupt or go through a nasty break up at any moment... Positive thinking won't protect me from that. The only thing I can control is my next move. Will I make the pain temporary by taking action? Or will make it permanent by being a coward??? Life isn't short. It's the longest drawn out shit you experience. And pain will find everyone. So embrace the grind and live like a champion rather than a cowardly spectator. #ManOfExcellence |
