i have noticed most guys when they beat up people will not get in trouble with there peers for it i think the reason is that there higher value than the person they beat up is this whole non fighting thing a misconception? if hes a lower value than you should you be able to beat him up? |

In High School people don't want to challenge the guys that beat people up because they are intimidating. I wouldn't say they have a higher value though.

Entirely dependant on situation. Although usally its not that beating someone up is socially acceptable (although it is more so these days) or that it demonstrates value but more that the type of male who goes looking for fights generally is an Alpha type and hence the attraction is to those qualities, being alpha, cocky and funny, confidence etc. despite the fighting. Also the feelings of security etc. Also peer groups will tend to be accepting because of fear, liking the other persons other traits and general well it doesnt involve me attitudes Really though beating someone up is only really going to demonstrate high value if there is a good reason for it. Like your protecting your family or a loved one. Starting a fight for no reason or picking on people generally isnt going to. However if a guy picks a fight because hes drunk or whatever and loses then it does demonstrate high value for the guy who won as he was forced into it by some idiot lol! Still I believe walking away before a situation escalates or calming it down demonstrates far more DHV but obviously sometimes its un-avoidable and winning is always better, still if you are beat up for no good reason it wont lessen your value much. Paticularly if you take it well or are set upon by 2+ people etc. |
