| Post subject: | What do you do when you miss a good chance? |
I have missed so many good opportunities to pick-up 'my kind of' girls in the past few months because of approach anxiety. I am just wondering, what do you do whenever you miss chances because you chicken out and so forth? I was thinking about counting every chance I missed which can then motivate me to not let it add up. |

When you chicken out...learn to not have to feel that way again. The only way you learn to not feel shitty, is by repetition. I'm sure you have a skill in life, like juggling, Djing, guitar, drums etc. where you've had to spend hours and hours perfecting something...so by the 10th year of all this, it comes extremely naturally.I am just wondering, what do you do whenever you miss chances because you chicken out and so forth? You idea of "my kind of girls" is fine unless you are limiting your potential by selecting what you think is your "kind of girl". the point of repetition is to be interacting with all kinds of girls...the more the better. When people tell you to treat beautiful women like a 6 you met at a bar, that comes from experience of speaking to beautiful women...AND not so beautiful women. Point is, you gained something by just DOING. How awesome is that? You don't even need to study per se...you just DO. Once you've found your voice, so to speak, you'll be able to blend this "game" with your own personality strengths. THIS is when you find your kind of girl, when you become her kind of guy. I know how you feel dude. But don't succumb to tunnel vision. That's what I've learned from my missed chances. I learned that I had to just do, and not just think like I want to approach that one particular girl I want. So whenever I see a beautiful girl, no matter if she's my type or not, I'll make the approach. That's how you practice and also keep an open mind. Who knows? That beautiful girl you thought that wasn't your type could've been a freak in bed. |
