Im not doubting it. I know girls love confidence and thats for sure the most important charatheristic for us. Its just that sometimes I want to understand how things really work so that I can create new ideas and better beliefs. If im not mistaken, the reason why girls love confident man is that they have very fucked up emotional functioning and confidence is a result of a nice and strong emotional functioning in a man. Altough I notice confident girls pretty often by their body language, facial expressions and some other behaviors. Does that make sense? Are there any other explanations? This is just for my curiosity and better understanding of life. Thanks! |

I'd say it's sort of the same as why guys like big boobs. It's just biologically programmed into females to find confidence attractive in males. It's an evolutionary thing that they developed. I don't think it has anything to do with women being emotionally messed up. That's a pretty misogynistic stance to take. Women are different emotionally than men of course, but that doesn't make their emotional functioning messed up. |

Confidence is attractive to both sexes, its innate. Its an outward sign of good genetics. Which is hotter, a girl in drab clothes slimpin around with her head down or a girl bustin in a room with a tight dress, head up, shakin her ass around the room? You would probably never notice girl #1 |

Yea, right. I always notice confident women so this emotional thing doesnt make much sense to me anymore.

Yea but if the confident girl is still ugly... You would probably never notice girl #1 I dont think confidence is a sign of good genetics... its something we can develop throughout our lives or maybe something that is never develpoed by some people. I mean, everyone can develop confidence despite their genetics. My point is that confidence makes a much bigger difference to men for attracting girls than to girls for attracting men. |

I think confidence is attractive because confident men actually make the move. They take the lead. They do all the work. This takes the pressure off her. When a man is confident, it makes the girl feel confident, (state transference) and most girls lack confidence and self-esteem so when a confident man comes along and makes her feel confident, she wants to be around him more. Above all, a confident man provides more value than an insecure man. If you were a girl, would you rather talk to a man who's nervous and awkward, needy, tries to hard, etc, or a man who's relaxed, fun, funny, charming, leads the conversation, makes you feel comfortable and safe, who touches you and turns you on, etc? It's just common sense. |

Confident men are willing to take action and stand firmly to the tough struggles of the world, because they can, women can be sure they will be defended and protected by the good decisions and actions of the mentally healthy male. It's hardwired in they brain to seek out and mate with males of this kind. |

Sobriquet gave you the correct answer succinctly and then you had some nonsensical retort that wasn't even germane to what he said. The other posters are also correct by in a more abstracted way. Don't argue with people when you clearly know nothing - that's a good tip to avoid alienation as you go thorough life. |
