Dont try to create a successful personality and duplicate it. That is just putting yourself in a fantasy.

Cannot agree with you. I condone the whole "be you," thing but it comes with some extra instructions. If you want to attract women you have never attracted, you need to do something you have never done. Why not create a successful personality in your head?! If someone is stuck, take some aspects of individuals who own traits that you like and implement them until some part of it becomes natural.

The problem is we assume 'be yourself' means yourself with all of your insecurities, anxiety, lack of confidence, negative beliefs.

I believe when you let go of and clear these out then you can REALLY be yourself... the real you without all of those insecurities and limitations. Then the confidence will naturally shine through.

Though it is a challenge and it is tempting to take the easy way out by pretending to be someone else.
