I recently wrote down a list of 101 goals and then set 3 checkboxes next to each goal. As I got a little closer to accomplishing a goal I filled in part of the checkbox (approximately half, diagonally). What this has done for me is shown me all of my various goals and which goals I would be finished with if I focused my energy on them, based on how much of each goal's checkboxes were filled in. After running through the goals I found 21 goals that I was close to achieving. The main thing that had kept me from completing them was that I hadn't written my goals down and placed priority on anything. So I had too many options as to what I could do with my time. As I eliminated superfluous options and narrowed down my direction, I came up with a list of goals to complete for this month. So far, of the 21 goals that I set out with for this month, I have 5 remaining and I have made significant progress toward my finish line. I have the rest of the month to finish these 5 goals and (for proprietary reasons) I can't get too detailed as to what they are. Suffice to say that as you walk down a road, if you have a few dozen ideas (forks in the road) then you would veer off course and become lost on your way to success. So put goals on a time schedule and finish what is within your reach and you will find that certain goals require the completion of other goals. This, I share with you, so that you can take down time and turn it into productive time. Start dreamlining: Write a list of 5 things that you want to have, 5 things that you want to be, and 5 things that you want to do. Look at the list and select the 4 items that if you were to achieve in 3-6 months would change your life. Make a plan to make those dreams happen. Do this often so that you stay in touch with what you really want and no woman will ever confuse you for being "A guy who doesn't know what he wants". That's my $0.02 |

Love it. I absolutely agree with you, it was only after I started clearly defining what I wanted and how to get it that I started getting what I wanted. It's almost as if when you clearly define what your goal is, your unconcious mind knows that it exists and it's obtainable.
