This isn't really about pick up, it's about my job but thought it can't hurt to ask what high value men might do in this situation. Basically I work at a restaurant and we have this mandatory meeting to go to for about an hour. It's a bit of an inconvenience for me because it's 2 trips to work instead of one for that day. From what I here they are basically going to say things like "Our store is losing so much money for this and that" and basically try to make us feel guilty for things not our fault. They might even throw in "You should work faster" Or they might say "from now on, no more long hair, piercings or funny clothes like studded belts" that help us peacock. It's a stupid low paying fast food joint, not high end fine dining! My question is what does a high value man do in this situation? I could pretend like I never saw the paper in the break room that tells about it. I could tell them my other job is at the time of the meeting. Would a high value man ever go to it or always take the risk of not going? If I did go what would I say if they talk about things I do like phone game on the clock or if they say "you should cut your hair"? Also what should I do when anyone tries to make me feel guilty about things that arn't my fault? That happens a lot at this place... |

High value man and fast food worker are antithetical concepts. |

I value honesty, so i would go. but it all depends on your situation what your willing to sacrifice to keep the job, i.e if you don't have many responsibilities and think you could get another job fast enough id politely decline to change my appearance. However if you on some broke arse 8mile shit then you may have to gracefully accept what they ask of you. as of the blame for things that aren't your fault, address the issues with listening, courage and consideration. listening to what they think is your fault and verbalise there point of view 'so you think its my fault our mayonnaise looks like jizz' (if your not defensive it takes them off the offensive) then Consideration of the other person but courage to say your piece. |
