I have a particular class that just destroys me, on an internal level. I know don't why, but whenever I go to that class, I am as insecure as I was when I first started to improve myself. I know people in that class who are old friends of mine but I still feel so terrible in that room. The professor is a bitch and the class seems like some kind of hell. I'm a smart dude, so the content is no problem for me, but for some reason that room feels like a confidence killing coffin. Any advice?

It's all in your head bud. Confidence isn't real. It's not tangible. These are the things that are going through your mind. You have to tell yourself to shut up. I suggest reading the book "The Power of Now". Plus it's just a class, why do you need the confidence there any way?

You sound fairly intune with your surroundings. Maybe a bit too much in your head or blowing it out of proportion though?

Read the Six Pillars of Self Esteem by Nathaniel Branden, that could really help.

Best of luck

You guys are right. And what I think it was is the old friend of mine knew me before I started to change myself. He doesn't know the "Me of today". After talking some, its a lot better now and we reconnected.

What class is it? How many people? I personally feel really negative in classes with large amounts of students, and all my classes this semester are 300+. Just focus on the work man, and your buds in it.
