I have a particular class that just destroys me, on an internal level. I know don't why, but whenever I go to that class, I am as insecure as I was when I first started to improve myself. I know people in that class who are old friends of mine but I still feel so terrible in that room. The professor is a bitch and the class seems like some kind of hell. I'm a smart dude, so the content is no problem for me, but for some reason that room feels like a confidence killing coffin. Any advice? |

It's all in your head bud. Confidence isn't real. It's not tangible. These are the things that are going through your mind. You have to tell yourself to shut up. I suggest reading the book "The Power of Now". Plus it's just a class, why do you need the confidence there any way? |

You sound fairly intune with your surroundings. Maybe a bit too much in your head or blowing it out of proportion though? Read the Six Pillars of Self Esteem by Nathaniel Branden, that could really help. Best of luck |

You guys are right. And what I think it was is the old friend of mine knew me before I started to change myself. He doesn't know the "Me of today". After talking some, its a lot better now and we reconnected. |

What class is it? How many people? I personally feel really negative in classes with large amounts of students, and all my classes this semester are 300+. Just focus on the work man, and your buds in it. |
