The word prejudice is most often used to refer to preconceived, usually unfavorable, judgments toward people or a person because of gender, social class, age, disability, religion, sexuality, race/ethnicity, nationality or other personal characteristics. That's the definition in wikipedia. I post this cause I'm very prejudgemental on attractive girls. When I was a kid in school, I was very lonely, other kids were mean to me, and the girls looked at me with that typical "you weirdo" look for no reason. The point is, every time I get to meet a nice looking girl, I feel threatened, and therefore get quiet, nervous, and defensive. This kills all possible attraction. I know it is not AA because I can feel the difference. With AA I get able to handle the situation, but in these cases I just go into AFC mode. What do you guys think about this? Any way to overcome or control this? |

Same here, just ONLY at school. Dafuq is up with me. .__. + If I do "Oh, just fuck it" I'm pretty sure I'll mess it up as I REALLY have NOTHING to say. Would going OVERLY alpha, like TOTALLY dominating the girl fix the issue? Like calling her something with no reason? (Feels AFC, but yh.) Or asking her to do something... I think I'm on to something. Ask her something... then instantly go into INTERESTED mode and PLOW. I hope this works? I made it up on place, so I dunno. .. You need a reason to be interested in her. You KNOW she'll think "dafuq is this guy talking to me?" unless it's a club. How to make YOURSELF interested. Ask her help on something and just notice how you start liking her. Just have fun and pull her in to it, like I'mma have more fun with you. ADDING: You might be putting too much pressure on the action. Remember, you don't give a fuck what happens, she doesn't give a fuck, it's about what you both start wanting from each other and not being phased out like a loser or worse being blocked off by her. HOLD IT UP. Don't worry. |

Damn. I knew it had something to do with prejudice but never thought it was the entire thing. I feel exactly the same, and I think for the same school reasons you have, I hade em as a kid. Now I don`t know what the "cure" might be, but if you find anything that works please share, couse lately I`m simply annoying myself with this attitude. I know that it`s a wonderful world, we just have to experience it and love it. |
