i agree with Hobbit, mediation is a good way of letting go resentment and developing a better outlook towards people and life in general. i suggest you look into buddhism and explore its teachings of love and compassion, it will go a long way in helping you let go of your resentment (i'm not a buddhist by the way, i just think the teaching are very practical and applicable to everyday life).

i know it sounds insane (why should i love/forgive/let go of my anger towards the people who wronged me? etc etc.) but give it a try, you may be surprised how much you can achieve.
