Thanks for the recommendations. I've read way of the superior man. I thought it was great. I'll look into the other two. I'd also recommend 'way of the peaceful warrior' by Dan Millman. |

The Power of Now - being present in the moment, not letting future projections fuck with your head, understanding how your ego acts upon your actions and how you're most of the time living inside your head, not in reality (best book I've ever read this is just amazing and pure gold; apply all the concepts from this in game, it will shift your reality) The way of the superior Man - explaining how women and men are attracted through polarity, explains another way of how and why women act the way they act, how a true man must think and act in order to achieve greatness in his life Mastery - The Keys to success and long-term fulfilment - explaining how to view plateaus in order to get success in any skill that you want to master, what's the steps and the attitude that you need to have in order to achieve mastery in a skill that you want to achieve |

Thanks Flair. Very helpful. The way of the superior Man - explaining how women and men are attracted through polarity, explains another way of how and why women act the way they act, how a true man must think and act in order to achieve greatness in his life Mastery - The Keys to success and long-term fulfilment - explaining how to view plateaus in order to get success in any skill that you want to master, what's the steps and the attitude that you need to have in order to achieve mastery in a skill that you want to achieve I'm going to listen to more of Tolle, especially some talks he's given. As for Mastery, I'm curious what they say about plateaus? |

You'll have to read the book, but overall...plateaus are the best thing that can happen to you. Plateaus are the only thing that are constant during your improvement...every time you're on a plateau and it seems hard to get better at your skill, you should see this as an opportunity that you will soon explode in results. It's just a matter of time. The author shows a graphic of how progress and mastery in any skill is achieved. There's always a long plateau, than sudden increase of results and again the plateau comes again. Through social conditionning, the society says to us that progress is linear and we have a very pessimistic view of plateaus, like "damn not the plateau again" because our society is based on short term progress with the less effort that you can make. This is the wrong way to look at any skill that you want to achieve mastery. He provides a lot of examples by his own skill that he achieved mastery: martial arts..so it's really awesome
