Post subject:  Approaching is the only way to learn? or a catch 22?

Hi today I decided to set a new rule for myself that every time I go out to a club or party venue I must approach 10 woman that night minimum.... and yes the number doesn't change if i get a few blow outs its 10 every time

I shared this theory with a relative of mine and they said to me that by doing this I might be coming off as a player, be rejected and develop a bad reputation.

Any helpfull advice on the matter? btw Im a big fan of the instant approach, as soon as you see a girl you like...BAM approach on the spot, no game plan, no hesitation.... The catch 22 is I wanna know how do I build up the inner confidence to do this? some pre- club affirmations mixed with movie stills to do the job? What would all of you that are interested in natural game say is your favourite way?

Learn by doing.

People who you see reguarly in clubs will see you as a player, but if you're approaching new girls it won't be a problem.

You'll only get a bad rep if you treat women badly, you can be a player and have a good (well as good a rep as a player can get, some people will hate you) rep.

I know a certain definite player. But he's always screaming at girls for doing something he doesn't like (even if he's just met them). He's got a pretty bad rep, but guys are jealous of him.

If its a confidence issue one thing that helped me to overcome it is self help books.
I'd reccomend Confidence by Rob Yeung it has some really good tips, it is straight to the point and helps you improve pretty much straight away.

It mentions the Do, Think, Feel cycle of which im a firm believer, it states that what you do affects what you think and therefore what you feel.

for example : you approach and you begin to think more positively and feel good and you can tackle this from any point so if you tell yourself over and over that 'you can do it' you feel better and therefore do better in set :D

Titanman is spot on the more you approach the better you get and the more you learn. think of it this way an athlete has to train to build their body to become stronger so they can perform better.

I hope this helps

I am a big fan of small chunking to build up confidence to do a large number of approaches. Start small before you go to the club start nodding and waving at the people you pass. When you grab a cup of coffee chat up the barista. Etc etc. The worst thing you can do for yourself before going out is to be home for two hours thinking about going out.

+1

I quite like chatting to people on the way into town. "Hey; do you guys know where's good in town tonight".

Use it on anyone. More specifically, use it on everyone, apart possibly from the dude who looks like he might mug you( although I'm sure there's be a cool DHV story in there somewhere).

Clubs are a clustered environment. If you get rejected by one group the rejection cascades.

I'm no expert but it seems whenever I'm with a couple guys I pretty much get dragged into the dance floor by girls.
