| Post subject: | How do I get rid of my "bad memories" |
Hi guys Just been exploring the forum and found some post about how events in the past can affect your self confidence. But how do I change the beliefs of the events that happened in the past? Currently I'm on college, but in the last year of primary school, I was bullied by 3-4 guys who'd always run after me, jell at me on the street etc. Stuff that broke me completely down back then... I've by time realized that they were the actual problem, and it was due to their upbringing and their too fucked-up rich-assed fathers who expected too much of them etc. but how can I use to this to change my belief? My problem is, that if I'd meet these guys one day again, i'd A: just be shy and start to ignore them, meaning that i haven't actually improved since then or B: be so filled with anger that if they started DLV'ing me, I would probably start a fight with one day (coming from a person who've never ever been in a fight) :/ So how do I get rid of this feeling - is facing the demons enough or?? |

Start reading up on NLP. Search the web. There are techniques that can get you past all this. I will warn you that you will have to relive your experiences in great detail in your head, but once its done its done. |
