This has been on my mind for awhile, and I need to share it with whoever will listen. I've been thinking a lot about all the stress and work that goes with talking to women. Approach Anxiety, anxiety while talking, and anxiety after talking. Then I see these guys who have women begging for them to have sex with them: hockey players, football players, baseball players, fighters, actors, musicians, etc. I see these men and the amount of women they get for just doing their jobs, and I think, "What the hell is the point?". Why am I busting my ass with my anxiety just talking to a woman when these guys are getting laid on an hourly basis just because they're "famous"? What's the point of "pick-up" when I know how easily other guys are getting women? So, why am I doing this? Why am I putting myself through this when I know that other guys are putting way less effort into something that profits more? Anyway, I feel a little better now. |

You are making a big effort to get women because that's what you have discovered to work so far. The circumstances those guys are in allow for women to fight over them. Notice, however, that there are many possibilities. It is very much possible to have women fight over YOU as well. You just haven't discovered how... yet. |

So, how do I change my attitude and approach? And, how is it possible to get women to fight over me? |

Quote: So, how do I change my attitude and approach?
Your current attitude and approach is determined by your beliefs. Find out what are the beliefs that cause your current attitude and approach, and after you eliminate those beliefs, you will have no problem changing your attitude and approach. And, how is it possible to get women to fight over me? And to get women to fight over you? I have to admit that I don't know of a foolproof method. However, there's a huge amount of information out there on how to be irresistibly attractive to women. If you put it into practice, you might find yourself having women fighting over you. The real problem tough, is that most of us are not confident enough to execute the advice from the pick-up teachers. And that lack of confidence is also caused by beliefs. If you eliminate the beliefs that are holding you back, the fear goes away. I wrote a post about it if you're interested in reading it: who-wants-to-get-rid-of-approach-anxiety-vt126937.html |

I personally wouldn't want women fighting over me. Gives me a bad name and one of them will end up hating me. And it's not a life you want, yeah it seems cool but I'm too chilled out to have that kind of stuff happening around me. Up to you if you want it, but the reality is far from it's appearance, trust me. If it's your confidence you have problems with I fully recommend the book "Confidence" by Dr Rob Yeung. Truly life changing. I started confidence building about 2 years ago and you wouldn't be the transformation of me after just a few months of that book. I still have things I'm self-conscious about but I'm working on it. If it's confidence issues you do have, I recommend reading this book, it's aimed at confidence building (obviously) whereas I don't like the confidence advice I find around the PUA community. Another good book is called the 60 second motivator. It's a short, small book but very very effective. Got me off my ass to study for a big exam, hit the gym and approach. |

@Penguin Idk how this forum is on Neil Strauss, but honestly I recommend greatly picking up his book, with 2 the book addition (got it for christmas so don't know how much it is). It's the only PUA book I could relate to because it didn't just have a bunch of "Do this do that do this there you have the girl!". But instead the main book "The Game" was about the life of someone who went from a nobody to a somebody. I felt a deep connection with the author because I can relate to it, especially the beggining. There are many generic motivating books, but one for PUAs? That I recommend picking up a copy and reading. |
