So today I was talking to this friend of a friend who had good fashion but I kept noticing one thing about him. His teeth were extremely yellow, had bad breath, and dry cracked lips. I couldn't stop thinking how does someone this well dressed not take care of his mouth. So lets not follow in his foot steps. Here's ways you can improve your teeth, breath, and lips.

Teeth Whitening

How to get bright teeth:
1. Floss. Yes its a pain but without it you will not have white teeth. If you don't floss out food in between your teeth it will cause major surface stains.

2. Brush your teeth thoroughly. Aim for at least 3 times a day or after each meal.

3. Mouth wash. To get any extra food particles out of your mouth.

These alone will boost the appearance of your teeth.
However if you want to take care of this faster there are other options.

1. Crest white strips. There are different degrees of strength. Read the package to find your desired strength. These are known for making your teeth sensitive to cold drinks and foods.

2. Foam strips. That's the name. You can find them at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. These are a slower whitening strip which you have to use twice a day for two weeks but is awesome.

3. Get a procedure done by your dentist or ask for White Nite which is a plastic retainer which whitens your teeth quickly.

Other tips

1. Buy a once weekly tooth paste. These tooth pastes are very strong. Once a week at most.

2. Making your own toothpaste.

There are various recipes of things around your house you can use.

Bad Breath

This might be my biggest pet peeve. Imagine you go to kiss a girl and she smells like she just ate a piece of dog shit. Yea its a turn off.

How to treat bad breath:

1. Brush and floss. The obvious ones of course.

2. Tongue Scrapper. Most of the bacteria that creates bad breath resides on your tongue. Scrapping your tongue will remove this and dramatically improve your breath.

3. Mouthwash. Fresh mint finish.

How to prevent bad breath:

1. Sometimes bad breath is caused by your teeth just being in horrible shape. You should go to your dentist at least two times a year. I personally go every month but I also get free dental work due to my uncle being a dentist.

2. Drink water. This washes out your mouth.

3. Gum or mints. Self explanatory.

Dry Craked Lips

Ever wake up in the morning and have cracked lips or severely dried out lips. Or notice through out the day how your lips are dry. Well here are some tips for you to avoid this.

1. Brush your lips lightly after letting your tooth brush sit in steaming hot water for a minute. This removes all the dead skin cells.

2. Don't lick your lips. This will dry out your lips even more than they already are.

3. Chap stick. Applying this through out the day will keep them moisturized.

Serj

Good advice Serj, a lot of people under estimate the importance of oral hygiene and how critical it is to your health and well being. Not taking care of your mouth can lead to seriously unpleasant and painful oral health problems and if left untreated can cause potentially life threatening infections such as septicemia and gangrene. However I have to point out to you that whitening teeth does not come without its drawbacks. A lot of people who have had their teeth whitened experience sensitivity which makes drinking liquids particularly awkward. Whitening procedures are often harsh and damage the enamel and in combination with excessive brushing will wear it out and your teeth will need to be replaced. The other option is to get veneers but this is expensive and needs to be done regularly.

I have been told that I have really nice teeth and they are well shaped but not the whitest. I asked my dentist and he said its genetic and if we were to peel my flesh and muscle from my bones the rest of my bones would probably be a similar colour. I have never had anyone make a bad comment on my teeth and with flashes on cameras in most photos my teeth look chalk white anyway.

Unless you want super white Hollywood teeth to peacock with (and this will have consequences) I think that if you can restore your teeth to their natural colour (if you have neglected your teeth this may need a dental procedure) and take care of your oral hygiene and cleanliness then you will probably be okay. I would also like to point out that eating a balanced diet is essential to maintaining good oral health. Unless you are diabetic keep your sugar intake low and do this by cutting down on fizzy carbonated drinks because they are practically designed to rot your teeth, cutting down on chocolate/other confectionery and paying attention to food labels for 'hidden sugars' in ready meals and supermarket sandwiches etc. Always drink water whilst eating citrus fruits to dilute the citric acid and minimize the damage done by acid erosion.

Hope this has been helpful,

To all Pua's this is the main reason sometimes why you fail with your game..

Because of "Bad Breath" or BO "Body Odors".. Take really good care of your self and be concious "Always check yourself before going out" take time to prepare..

No matter how good your game is and if you have Bad Breath or any Body Odor then it's GAME OVER! who would like to make out with a beauty queen with a mouth that smells like a rotten food? would you?, i really bet that she won't make out with you either! think about it..

Just a friendly reminder from,

Teeth and breath are probally the most important thing girls consider when it comes to the way a guy looks. You can have the nicest clothes, but if your breath stinks they are going to be counting the seconds until you walk away.

This should be a sticky. Great insight. Reminds me of a girl at work who's realll fine, nice body, nice face, everything... except for her lips and teeth...
Even in Photos, she looks great, but in person...
