What would be a good way to do this without appearing to be cocky? Being direct is not a problem, it's favoured, but I want to do this smoothly, intelligently and in an interesting fashion. |

In that case, be sure you've learned the meaning(s) of the different common body positions for girls, and make it into an interesting topic. Tell her "Your body language right now tells me that..." and go from there, preferably at a time when she is communicating interest in you with her position. Typically I wouldn't use this because I don't want her to be thinking about it in the future, and trying to watch herself/watch you while realizing that you are putting conscious effort into your alpha body language. |

I won't even start with "Your body language tells me...." Just go in with something like "I think your trying to tell me......" or "I think you are thinking......." |
