There is one problem with this question what are you looking for in a body language book? How to read it or how to be perceived? With body language books focus on one or the other in most situations. I'm going with reading body language. Please help, and thanks. This can end up a pretty long list but I have read tons and still feel the best books I've read on body language are The Definitive Book on Body Language by Pease Undercover Sex Signals by Lowness What Every Body Is Saying by Navarro I have a pretty long thread a lot of folks seem to give love to in the Natural Game Section. It's called The Key to Natural Game is Body Language. body-language-the-key-to-natural-game-vt71495.html I mean I've read tons of books on body language but those are the best starter books out there in my humble opinion. Navarro's book is amazing, and the Peases'(husband and wife wrote it) book is incredible as well often recognized as THE book on body language. Undercover Sex Signals is a great book for courtship signs, but there are plenty of other solid books on body language. Keep in mind I feel you shouldn't just know courtship body language, you should know all of body language and what it is saying. Understanding attraction is very important but you must understand comfort levels in order to understand attraction and the phases involved in courtship. For the phases of courtship I still haven't figured my favorite book, each has it's thoughts I favor but I haven't set on just one process. Perper(falling in sync), Givens(5 phases), and Morris(12 steps) all own great observations of courtship and all hold some truth. I haven't settled for any of these answers quite yet, there are still a few more on the shelf to read Fisher, Miller, Buss, and Lewis. I'm pretty sure once I get finished with all that I'll have a better shape of my own thoughts and philosophies on the courtship process. Sorry man, there is a lot involving body language. I can go on and on but it won't do you much good. |
