Post subject:  your favourite clothing brand?

One of the things i'm kind of addicted to is clothed brands, i just can't help but buy named clothes. I might buy the odd item thats cheaper or rather known to me as unbranded(if ur in the UK, clothing stores such as river island might be an example) if it looks nice and has a decent amount of detail on it.

Whenever i wear branded clothes, i feel a lot more comfortable, but even so i dont wear brands to follow the fashion, but to dress the way i like to dress. I also find that much better materials are used in the clothing as well as much more detail.

My personal favourite brand at the moment is probably diesel by far, the jackets and tees are really impressing me at the moment...Whats your favourite brand, and why?

I like Nautica and Gap for jeans...they don`t shrink in the wash and their classic fit jeans are really comfortable. For button-up shirts I like Chaps...I have very long arms which makes shopping for long sleave shirts a bitch, but Chaps always seems to make shirts that fit both my torso and arms. I also like the Alfani shirts from Macy`s...they fit me well too. Everything else I pull from the clearance racks at Ross. lol

I agree with you. It makes people look really stupid when they won't buy a certain brand of clothing because they think its 'gay' or 'lame'. When I shop for clothes I look at what I think works good with me and what I think increases my attractiveness. I shop everywhere and look all around because different shops carry different things. I'm not one of those guys who says 'oh its from american eagle i like that store so im gonna buy it even though i dont like that shirt'. If something is from a shop that is perceived preppy I don't give a shit. I'm confident and above these labels to be too afraid to buy it because I fear people will be looking at the label. That's what middle schoolers do, we're adults.

As for me, I find element has alot of nice quality clothing that's not in the extravagant price range.

personally, i prefer my clothing to be slim fit, not skinny tight but to fit your body shape, also for jeans to be slim fit too.

funny you say that, im only 16 and still at school :P although your quite right, most people in my school will always go for branded names that are popular, i dont see why but most people seem to want to dress rich and make sure there peers know they dress rich by the name instead of dressing nice.

when i shop, im probably worse than a girl, i could shop for 10 hours yet buy nothing because i havent find the exact thing i wanted...I'll always have a preference on what brands i like, i guess thats the same for everyone, but whatever looks nice ill purchase :)

never heard of element neither :( America need to bring there brands over!
anyone from uk have a preference to certain brands?

Honestly, I go for whatever I find to be looking good. It needn't be 200% pure cloth or shit like that. If it looks sophisticated, stylish and not too loud, I'd buy it regardless of the brand name.

Heh, my bad 8)

I have a debit card with a $500 credit limit. I'd look into getting something like this if you don't already have it, as it doesnt allow you to rack up massive debt. I do most of my shopping online nowadays, and I have to admit although I live in the US most of my favorite stores are UK ones. They seem to have a better grasp of style in my opinion regarding flannels and button up shirts. They also have alot of items I can't find anywhere over here.

the thing you gotta think about is what dont just buy something just because of the name on it, the reason i say that is because something may look great in an advert but it may not suit you, you have to think about how good it would look on you as opposed to the name on it. i cant afford to constantly buy high end clothing, most of my clothing is by jeff banks but they arent overly expensive, but i like tom ford but i cant afford to spend £300 on a shirt

I tend to buy what I like to wear and dont give a monkeys about the label on it. Although on occasion this had led me down some very expensive routes ( www.jeffery-west.co.uk shoes anyone?!!) but usually it means nice and cheap - ebay,tk max and non-chain stores etc ftw!

I do draw the line at underwear I'll always have a nice pair of designer underwear on, simply because it's a good statement to make, your buying designer clothes which no one gets to see except the girl you have back in your flat about to give you head - 'whats under this is deserving of the best' ;)
