| Post subject: | Peacocking Help |
I'm a newbie and I have a specific newbie question. I want to find a way to peacock that fits, but I've never been able to pull off jewelry. I'm a big guy, and pretty clean cut. I get the jock stereotype most often. Any tips? |

What people do wrong is they go out and get themselves ridiculus outfits that they use once and never ever wanna put on again. You gotta understand that the peacocking clothes are YOUR clothes. Thats the shit that YOU wanna wear. Peacocking is about standing out, sure but not primarily. If you dress like everybody else you dress to fit the crowd. If you peacock to stand out, you dress to fit the PUA archetype. What peacocking is about really is that you are confident to wear whatever YOU wanna wear. And fuck whatever people wants you to wear. What would you wear if you were a moviestar? A super rockstar? If you were confident enough to wear anything at all, what would that be? If you could restructure the fashion industry after your own head, what would people wear? That is what your style is, that is your way of peacocking. When I go out, I wear whatever I feel like wearing, if I feel like jeans and T-shirt I wear that (never happened), my personality will peacock enough. I wear fancy clothes that are specially made for me, stuff that I myself have designed. (Doesnt cost very much more than buying from whatever store actually.) Those clothes might not look like your average style but they are MY clothes. You should be thinking the same. You peacock in YOUR clothes, the ones that makes YOU feel comfy! |

^^Exactly what Ezo said, I'll give you an idea as I'm similer to you(Big guy, now sporting a shaved hair style) My stuff is very Rockstar(Think Bon Jovi/Johnny Rzeznik style) but I've tried afew different things, but the one I've had most success is: A set of wooden beads, around 8 pairs, different colours, whats great is that they get looked at ans played with and I use them as lock in props("wow, can I have one" "You may BORROW this, but I'm gonna need it back later") A Rosary Bead, I've got a white one and a black one, depends on what colour shirt I'm wearing, the white one's pretty cool cause it glows in UV lights. I'm not religious but people ask why I wear it, "Well I'm very sprirtual and I can't disbelieve it, plus it glows, thats AWESOME, I Love it!!!" Now there just mine, they've definatly helped. Good luck |
