I am considered a good looking guy - women tell me this almost every night when out at the bars. I have a well kept, short beard, I am about 6ft tall and athletic build (not big, but not scronny) and I am a fairly hairy guy. I have a classic style of dress (nice button down shirts, nice jeans, fresh sneakers/or nice casual/dress shoes, depending on the occasion). Being that I rarlely wear t-shirts out, I am usually wearing a shirt that has buttons on the chest (polo shirt) or button down all the way. I usually leave the top 2 or 3 buttons undone, exposing some chest hair. I get comments on it, usually playful and positive, so I keep doing it. I feel like my personality and appearance is congruent with doing this ( I also drink whiskey on the rocks and it seems to go hand in hand with exposed chest hair) and it is generally more comfortable and communicates - in my opinion - laid backness (is that a word?). What are your opinions on this? leave it out or cover it up? |

The general rule is one if by day, two if by night, in reference to the amount of buttons to leave undone. Your boy, 870 |

It has to go with your style... Can you imagine Hugh Jackman without it? Or David Letterman with a bushy chest... They know how they are and what suits them. Peace.[/quote] |

However chest hair + mainicured lounge lizard outfit = vaguely sleazy. I feel chest hair works better with a rocker, feral, devil-may-care look. |

Good points in here. I am in the same boat and feel weird about it around my area, which is the beach. I am super white and try to tan but cant hold it. But back to the point I am tall blonde with chest hair so I will wear a nice t-shirt when I go out. But now that you mention it I am a Scotch drinker i do feel more comfortable with a nice button down. Hmm... |

I have a load of chest hair... It is just easier to shave it or whatever to eliminate the problem altogether. |

I have chest hair, not overgrown or anything, girls love it I'm telling you. But thats it keep chest hair, no back hair wax it ( i have none naturally my fathers genes lol he has none). No nose hairs either. I like going out with a natural grown beard trimmed down usually take the buzzers and do between a 0 and 1, i never shave and it makes me look older (im 20) and people always mistake my age for 25 or around there. |

A recent poll of women showed that women like men with chest hair than men without it so hope that helps! |
