PUA Forum :: How do you Hold your drink when at a bar/club?

I have found that seemingly 99.9% of all guys hold their drinks in front of their chest, with elbow bent at a 90 degree angle. The problem is, it seems like you are guarding yourself from something/someone and it comes off as AFC. This is what I have heard, but I also tend to agree when I see it at bars and think about it.

I, personally, whether this is right or not, hold my drink at my side, by my pants pocket. with a glass, I grip the drink by the rim of the glass, fingers splayed across the whole top of the drink, and with a beer bottle I hold it by the neck and let it dangle by my pocket. I think I do this because my dad does this and it is just a natural instinct for me.

Is this correct? How do you hold your drinks?

This just feels natural to me and in my opinion conveys relaxation and confidence. If it's a beer bottle I'll hold it with two or three fingers near the lip of the bottle, if it's a wine glass or a rock glass I'll hold it from the top. My drink comes up when I drink, or when I'm passing through a crowd, then I hold it at shoulder height but that's just a courtesy thing. ~Antithesis
