I have issues with my eye contact and not only with women. It is really fuckin poor I know I have confidence issues anyone know techniques to fix this problem?

Well a good way to fix the problem is when some one is staring at you, stare at them right back, until they stare away, but what ever you do dont stare away. Thats the whole point of the exercise, it might feel awkward at first, especially staring down a complete stranger, but hey i mean they were staring at you first though right. Eventually you`ll just get use to it... Or so i would hope :D

I do martial arts where you're supposed to keep your eyes locked on your opponent's eyes.. I always used to forget and look down, but then I watched Blade 2 and heard this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=880kLRAm7cI

At the same time, it makes me laugh (relieving anxiety), and helps me remember to look in the eyes when I'm fighting. :D

Also helps me sometimes to just stare at random people as I walk by them. Kind of makes me feel like a creep, but it's good practice, and eventually you realize that hey, what are they gonna do, even if they go crazy I can probably beat them in a fight or otherwise outrun them. But that's never happened, most of them just look away after 2-3 seconds.

The eye-contact "battle" is a good one! you can just see it as a game, just for fun.
And if you do it with stangers, why should you care? you will never see them again.

But beware: sometimes in my country some people see it as an insult if you look them in the eye ( I'm from Holland)

If you are in school you can just look the teacher in the eye when he is looking at you, and keep eye contact till he bails out ( I used to do that when I as 12 years old for fun :P )

I know what you mean.

I guess you just need to practice. Get out there and go into the worst eye contact situations you can imagine. After that you wont think that it is so bad to look people in the eye. Keep eye contact even if your eyes start tearing up, cry, but keep eye contact.

I got a friend with huge amounts of boob. I HAVE to look her in the eye or my soul would disintergrate from sheer boobiness... ;)

also if you keep eye contact with a girl until she looks away, you can just go up to her and open, saying "you cant look at me like that and just say nothing" it works surprisingly well.
