Post subject:  Little Peacocking for me ?

Hi there,
my first post here and obviously i start with a question.

Read a lot about peacocking and guess i wanna give it a try without changing my style too much.
i dont even know if peacocking is the right word, maybe just something to personalize this style a bit more.

So normally i am wearing (brands are just that you get a better image):
- leather shoes/leather sneakers (got some boss or lacoste sneaker)
- good looking tight jeans
- some exclusive but discreet belt (boss or something, but with no logo or brandname on it)
- single-colored polo shirt, relativle tight or body conscious (if thats the right word, hope you understand)
- short hair with some hair gel (hope right word again) in it.
- a watch adding to this (also a good one, everything silver/metal)

so probably you have some kind of image now and you have some kind of idea for me?
i was thinking about adding a scarf maybe or better to say for every outfit a fitting scarf?
if that's a good idea, how to wear this scarf and what scarfs (colours, styles, etc) would be a good?

or some other suggestions?

sounds like you dress very similar to me dude!

the only rule i follow with peacock is "have something the other guy has no idea existed"
where are you from? what is the usual dress for blokes where you usually go sarging?......now add something that on one wears.

some eg's (that i adopted):
-top hat (gangster style),
-some cool chain(s) nothing too crazy but make it noticeable,
-bright bandana over your wrist or if your jeans are a bit baggier that day hanging you of your back pocket,
-out of the ordinary T-shirt always works (i have one that says "I LOVE YOU LIKE A FAT KID LOVES CAKE" in fluro pink and trust me does that get comments even from guys nit to mention the HBs)
-some bracelets/wrist wear

scarfs are wicked if you look good in them! I do but i hate them, still i've tried it and it works great so go for it mate.

with everything tho remember to make it stand out, even if just a little bit, but make it noticeable. so with the colours go either bright or something unusual for a guy (eg purple, bright red, yellow)

as i said before i dress almost exactly like you and when i was back in Australia it worked great cos most guys in Aussie are chumps and stick to fashion trends like shit on velcro so i was the odd one out.
now i'm in Germany (5weeks) and i noticed from day one the my style was very German...or better yet European, so i looked just like every other guy instead of the exciting new foreigner that the girls wanna chat with.
So what i'm doing is a drastic makeover (partially cos my parents would've killed me if i did this at home but that's another sad story)! I'm now gonna sport a kinda biker/rock'n'roll look with slicked back hair/pompadour tightish and slightly torn jeans, converse all stars or biker boots, a heavy belt, chained wallet goofy tight T or white shirt with a vest, wrist wear or any kind, unique leather necklaces and i'm about to get my ears done next week with horn-claw earrings! (once i'm done i'll post a pic)

also i wear a hole bunch (6) friendship/surfy bracelets and each has a story and meaning to it (all true btw) and they are a kick-ass prop for both an opener (ask her what she thinks of these - show both hands- then say the bracelets not the big hands - just like Mystery does with his black nails) and a DHV (cos each has a story to it)

hope some of it helps mate

use hold or wax instead of gel, doesn't give it that crispy flakey look

Just use wax and spike it
