Hi PUAs

Can anyone recommend any good films to watch to help with body language, voice tonality and dress.

I've recently watched Fight Club but i need some inspiration.

Any correspondance will be greatly appreciated.

Anything with well played alphas gives you voice tonality and and body language.

Oceans eleven isn't bad for a range.
In fact, Clooney's a good model for the smart alpha in most of his films.

This all boils down to what kind of alpha you want to be though. There's many different types really, from the suave sophisticated to the rough and ready.

Can you give any examples of these?

Brad Pitt
Ben Affleck
Giovanni Ribisi
James Caan
Marlon Brando
Harvey Keitel
George Clooney
Edward Norton
Vin Diesel
Robert Downey Jr

Are all good actors that play alpha characters (normally, take a look through their history on imdb for some ideas.

Films I'd recommend:
Wall Street
Godfather
Boiler Room
Glengarry Glen Ross
The Departed
Dirty Harry
Reservoir Dogs

Hope this helps you out :)

Hi! I started a similar topic where I asked guys opinions on who to model. I myself have modeled and adopted to some extent something from

young Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront and Streetcar Named Desire,

I took something from Brad Pitt in Fight Club,

the three first James Bond movies with Sean Connery, for body language and c&f attitude. In fact every Bond movie is a supply of cocky and funny lines. Overused as they may be...

Jason Statham is great in Transporter (the way he handles the leading lady) and I think in Snatch too (Turkish is a very very cool character)

But what about Clint Eastwood? The problem with his type of anti-social alphas is that mimicking them won't help you with people, or what do you think? Cool alpha who is let alone. But you can always look for some mannerisms and integrate them to your own creation.

Anyway, some of my thoughts on this topic.

Dig, you are asking a very good question.

Now, while I think Boiler Room is an excellent movie, it's not about being alpha. I did not found one single alpha in that film. Lot of boys desperately seeking validation from others through possesions and showing off. Desperate and overly insecure human beings. I think it was a very good metaphor of the emptiness inside that is being compensated in different ways.

But then take Godfather for example. You can focus on Vito Corleone playde by Brando. He relies on himself even though he may be at times asking for advice, he doesn't seek validation from anyone, he has his own principles, he controls (somewhat) his emotions, he is respected. Everything he does, he does with confidence.

Wall Street. Martin Sheen's charater is the real alpha.

Just look at his swagger the way he is always the leader never the follower ,and he leads by example. He is just always in control of whoever he is interacting with.
When he talks they listen. Thats just a few things i could think of off the top of my head.[/quote]

What about Nick Lachey?

I was just watching some Newlyweds (hey it's a good show!) and he always seems very confident and good with people.
