Post subject:  Peacocking T-shirts?

Just wondered what people thought about wearing humorous t-shirts? I suppose you could loosely term them peacocking items... I've got a reasonable "collection" now, and they ALWAYS seem to get a laugh (from men as well as women).

My personal favourites I bought are :

- white t-shirt with blue logo from a certain social networking site, with "I facebooked your Mum" written on it.

- Plain back t-shirt with "I'm disabled" written on it in white (I AM genuinely disabled, so I chuckle & tell girls it's an example of my particularly "dark" humour!) :)

Any thoughts? Has anyone else got any funny t-shirts or other stuff? Just for a laugh!

Yeah they are funny and everyone probably laughs... but is that really portraying that style of woman you want to pick up. I have shirts like that too, but its not what I wear for pickup gear.

Thanks for that. I get what you're saying, but I'd also like to add that I don't JUST wear t-shirts like that. I try to vary my everyday AND gaming clothes, like I guess we all do. In fact, as an aside, a few weeks ago I was actually in a club and a girl came up and opened me, saying :

"Wow! I just wanted to tell you I think what you're wearing looks so cool!" (P.S. I wasn't wearing any "funny" clothes that night, but just jeans, shirt, tie & suit jacket....)

It seemed pretty genuine, and we had some general "banter" afterwards.... Was good for my confidence though! Haha.

in my opinion, you can get shirts from a designer label, with cocky humour on it, its called Dom rebel.

you can get shirts like in great fabrics, designer looking (but get ready to pay, here they can be found for 70$CAN +++)

whenh i wear thoses, you can get compliment for the humour/fashion sense, but these are very particular kind of shirts so it really depens of your style.

Haha! love the facebook one! :D

The disabled is quite self-deprecating and also could be offensive to those who don't know that you are disabled.

Personally I don't have any really funny ones, I have one with a guy with nun-chucks that says "Kickass!" I'm into martial arts so that's quite like me.

Usually I just wear nice bright v-necks and t-shirts that show off the biceps.

Generally I try to avoid "comic" T-shirts.
Think of it from the view of a high class girl, is she going to the guy with the funny T-shirt that made her chuckle, or the guy with a stylish T-shirt and blazer?

This. Also it depends on what age group you are in and the kind of girls you want to attract.

High class can be good if she's got her shit together, but you get gold diggers that only date guys with expensive designer clothing. I know I wouldn't want a girl like that.
