Cost: $20 - $70 depending on brand and disposable vs. permanent lenses Duration: Disposables last on the order of a week. Ease of use: Depends how squirmish you are about having something on your eye. Some people freak out when they try to use contacts. http://trycolorcontacts.stores.yahoo.net/ Even if you don't need vision correction, you can get planar contacts (no correction) for as little as $20. Might be something interesting to try. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Has anyone had experience with these? How dramatic is the color change? |

I have seen them, never worn them. The change is pretty intense... definate peacocking move. Girls will love them. Especially if you get some obscure color that couldn't possibly be you eye color- like neon or orange or red or something. Try it out! |

Bump because I overlooked EvilEyes Contacts, which are not just a color change but a DESIGN. See the top post for the available selection. http://trycolorcontacts.stores.yahoo.ne ... ffect.html http://trycolorcontacts.stores.yahoo.net/sinister.html |

I would like to try these, however it seems as though a HB may be intimidated by this and have trouble keeping ey contact with say the spiral, or blackout. |

I was going to get a set of these the other week. Pissed off I didn't now. I would have got some electric blue, red or bright green ones. Something that jumps out at you. A lady friend of mine wore bright blue ones once. She got alot of attention from the guys (although she is a HB8.5 so she gets it excessively anyway). If I could find some in the city where I live I would most definetly get a couple. |

I used to wear some but when I did... Pro: Yes it got attention which was great in the beginning. Con: Soul Gazing or any prolonged eye contact with HB can result in her just concentrating on the wierd contact and not in the depths of her inner most being. (Also, if they sit even slightly off on your eyes, which happends alot, then you can have 1. Loss of minor periferal vision (nothing big but it CAN matter) 2. Under close inspection (soul gaze) you can see how they sit wrong and it will fuck things up. ) EvoJ |

I'm going to get some once I have lazer surgery. Coloured prescription contacts are just too expensive. Something to remember is that dark eyes are generally considered more attractive, and dilated pupils are associated with arrousal. So I'd advice going with the darker contacts rather than the bright/white ones. I've worn coloured contacts once. They were blue, like my normal eye colour, but much more vivid. They were commented on twice. Also, they don't look totally real. Natural irises are concave, meaning light hits them completely differently to the way it hit's coloured contacts, because they sit on top of your cornea, which is convex. Also, the fact that there's a lens and cornea between your natural iris and the open air gives them a much deeper, richer look. So don't try to change your eye colour with contacts. Go for something wild, like the fire or wolf eye ones instead. Stangely, I've had a lot more comments on my eyes when I'm not wearing my coloured contacts than when I am, up to the point of people assuming I have the coloured ones in. Very flattering, I used to hate my eyes. You can use that in a trivia book when I take over the world. |

I know from experience that these CAN work great IF you have the confidence to pull them off. They are a great conversation starter; I have a very good friend who has been using these for years (well before we ever knew what PUA or peacocking was). However I would not recommend the regular colors, such as green, blue, brown ect., that’s just boring; go big or go home – the crazier the contact the more the girls love it. |
