| Post subject: | Shoes |
Seeing as women spend a lot of $$$ on shoes i figured it would be a good idea to get a good pair myself. I'm looking for something that I can wear casually with jeans or shorts but i dont even know where to start... So how do i decide on a shoe that is casual, comfortable, stylish, and fits me? Any solid choices that you can't go wrong with? thx! |

Sperry Bahamas, Comfortable and classy I am what u call a 'shoehead', so i have lots of sneakers. I like to wear Nike Air Max 90s, Nike Air Max 1s, Nike Air Structure 91s, Nike Air Pegasus 89s, Nike Air Stabs. All of these are very comfortable and stylish to me and i always get compliments. A lot of these u can find on Ebay for cheaper as well. |

I don't know what our style is so it may not be congruent but something leather can dance merrily across clothing styles, here is my favorite pair that go with anything

That or consider a loafer that has distressed leather for more of a casual but dressy look. |

I always wear born shoes, they have a lot of good styles. Most stores only carry a few different styles so if you buy them online you can usually find a lot of different shoes that nobody's ever seen before. They are also unbelievably comfortable. I'm kind of a sandal guy myself, these sandals might not be good for club environment but I've gotten a lot of compliments from girls on them It's a great conversation starter. These born caine's frey when you wear them and they look so much better after being worn a while. |

awesome boots 870, also loving the other Mark Nason boots may have to get another pair. I got those ones off my clothing guy so didn't know the origin. Now for the question to end all questions, I wear the trouser leg over those as they are short topped but with the longer ones what do I do? In short how do you wear cowboy boots? |

I got a guy who runs a record shop that gets most of my clothes these days, so sadly I can't tell you. Although I tracked a pair down once, that style of boot has a name. If you search biker boots on google then hunt through the images a bit you can find a pic then the name then hit ebay. Sounds like hard work but took me about 10 minutes when I did it. Sorry I cant remember the name x http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&s ... 18&ndsp=18 1 step closer also I think mine are womens not sure meh |

What is it with cowboy boots and PUA's? You always hear PUA's talk about them and wear them but why? |

In general I like boots. I've never worn and probably never will wear cowboy boots though. Boots are good because they add a little bit of height if you're not the tallest guy in the world. They also are natural colors like dark brown and black so they match well with almost anything, especially jeans. Almost every other guy is wearing just regular shoes, so it's a nice way to set yourself apart. ~Antithesis |

/\ this and they send out a different message to sneakers, people wearing sneakers wear what everyone else does and in my opinion have little style (sorry guys its just how I feel about mass produced filth), boots are usually made by hand and unique. I like that, they also last pretty much forever if looked after properly. |

Yeah there's just something satisfying about polishing a pair of boots before a night out. It sure seems a lot manlier than going over a pair of sneakers with an eraser and a suede brush trying to get dirt off. ~Antithesis |

not really, not if u are wearing a unique pair of sneakers that most people dont know about. Unless u are a sneakerhead or have owned a pair in the past u've probably never seen the shoes i wear.Example: This is one of many of the kicks i have. I get compliments from girls all the time because they dont see them everyday. Guys around where i go to school wear mostly regular adidas running shoes, regular nike running shoes, sperry boat shoes, or a pair of new balance.

That is an exception, a rather awesome exception (loving the shoes hehehe) but yeah like you said 99.99% of guys wear the same shoes. |
