Post subject:  Rocking back and forth

Today at SPAM, I was monitoring these two counselors talking to each other. This long brunette about 5'7 ft, slim and decent face named Erin. While Erin was talking to Ricky a tall older guy - my opinion seems to gay to function. Hands in his pockets most of the time, walking around - staring at me which I take as intimidation. Maybe I'm a threat to his goal with this chick. So anyways, she had her arms folded and was rocking back and forth. Arms crossed means negative feelings about the situation and rocking back and forth means she propbably wanted to go somewhere else. Am I right - is it a sign of disinterest? She did laugh at his jokes and was sarcastic with him but usually joke kidding around doesn't necessary mean they're going in the bathroom to fuck.

I later found out that the guy likes her but she doesn't - at least she doesn't think she does. However, I like this new day program because well the cuties running around. No guys can't fuck therapists because it's against the rules. However, it's good practice.

Shit, my pizza is burning and it's all your fault guys. LOL! :) Nah, but let me know about this situation.

Body language is also situational.

crossing of the arms does not always show disinterest.
- uncertainty, shyness, low self esteem or disagreement are a few others.

the positioning of the arm crossing as well. Are they both crossed and locked high on the chest. are they relaxed and low. Is one arm hanging down; if so is the crossed arm latched below, on or above, perhaps on the shoulder.

all of this plays a part. You can get a general idea based on the situation and the basic understanding of the overall position.

along with the rocking, its also situational based.
- excitement, anxiety, frustration, impatience, even needing to use the restroom.

im not saying your wrong, simply pointing out that the overall picture and situation always plays a part.

now you did a good thing, you did not rely on one area, but a couple. ie both the arms and rocking. The common factors a disinterest. most likely in the vibe he was putting off.

because they work together, they have to have a friendly relationship. However my money is on the idea that she caught him looking at her, or some form of indication he was interested that made her uncomfortable. So she keeps it friendly but puts off a non interested posture.

I think the guy is gay. One of the clients were joking around about a He not cleaning up after he said "What's probably why i'm not married!" in the class. Stef said something like, "He wouldn't tolerate ---" so maybe he's gay and she feels comfortable.
