Post subject:  Wearing Perfume (yes,perfume)

Hey guys read this - it may change the exact way you get ready before a sarge (or anywhere for that matter). One time I was with this girl and she sprayed a lot of perfume on me. I can't remember which perfume it was but I reakkked of it. We went out to hang out with a bunch of my friends at a party and I can't tell you how many people said how good I smelled. Girls AND guys were comming up to me saying how amazing I smelled...none of the guys said anything about me smelling like perfume unless I told them the story. So that got me thinking. Roughly a week ago I saw a MANswers (best show haha) episode and they said that a study was conducted about smell and women. It turns out that the ONLY smell that TURNS A WOMEN ON (not just "smells good") is the sent of another women. And this makes sense if you think about it - its showing you have pre-selection thus raising your survival value, resulting in the girl liking you more. I have actually wore perfume and found that I have had GREATER success with women because its showing pre-selection without bragging about it (which sometimes is a hard thing to do especailly if your alone). If a girl asks about perfume (which has happened) I just say something C & F like "yea all these girls keep trying to get with me and its annoying couse im afraid to talk to girls :/" or something funny. The proof is there that it may actually IMPROVE your game to wear perfume rather than calogne or axe or whatever you wear. Try it out.

I think Berkley would argue with "manswers" lol

I attached the article below,

NOW
that being said... there are peole out there that have extensivly researched this idea that smelling like a woman ilicits a DHV.
So what you are saying is not complete bunk. Just beware that the same field testers also found that the *needy* factor was also higher among these women.
Take it for what you will, If you want I can look up some of the field research these guys did... they were testing womens phero's (copulans) as well as womens perfumes. It seemed crazy some of the FR's these guys had... but in the end, alot of them decided that overall the sketchiness of the results were such to make em go back to guys cologunes or known man smells aka sandelwoods and spices.

just my thoughts,
Lucky

Researchers at U.C. Berkeley found that a compound in male perspiration changes hormonal levels in heterosexual women and boosts their sexual arousal.

Their findings were published this week in The Journal of Neuroscience -- and just in time for Valentine's Day, which is this Wednesday.

The researchers say the study offers the first direct evidence that humans secrete a scent that can affect the physiology of the opposite sex.

The study was conducted last year and involved 48 U.C. Berkeley undergraduate women who took 20 sniffs from a bottle containing a compound related to testosterone.

I frequently wear women's perfume, I live with two girls so don't have to pay for it and my logic is women wear it because it smells good to them. Also shows preselection etc

i had girl before who had a fascination with odor. whenever she felt like it, she would anchor her nose on my shoulders and take out a big whiff. i used to feel self conscious about it because i was an athlete. so i stole my cousin's VS, strawberries and champagne, and sprayed it on me one time. the result... my gf was so ecstatic! she loved the way i smell and i got more lip action out of her than i usually do. that girl and i had already broken up. but i still use the same scent.. and guess what?! it still works.

even without research, you can tell that if you smell nice, you'd attract more people. take it from x529 and me. we've been there, done that, and gotten results... lol.

Hey guys, I understand the point you're getting at here, but a quick lesson on perfume. It's not gender specific like the media would have you believe. What makes perfume, perfume and cologne, cologne is the amount it is "watered down" with alcohol and other impurities. Think of it as a Jack and Coke. Au de toilette would be a shot of Jack and the rest Coke, Cologne would be 2 shots Jack and the rest Coke, Perfume would be 3 shots Jack and the rest Coke.

So the way the juice is marketed has a lot to do with the way the product is perceived by the public. Notice that cologne wears off after about 3 hours and perfume lasts between 8-10. Stay away from the toilet water. That stuff is a waste of $$$.

So yeah, wear all the perfume you want. Just make sure it isn't too soft! The Creed and Bond no. 9 lines are my favorite. Great stuff and a lot to choose from!

Now go out and pull some wool.

I suppose it markets that you are getting action perhaps if they can smell a womans scent on you, but I have to admit I will stick to my Floris No 89.

Well, I guess you missed my point entirely. Perfume is not gender specific. Sure there is a men's counter and a women's counter, and you prolly want to stay away from the women's counter period, but perfume is all about the power of what's inside the bottle.

Go to Sak's and try this stuff; From Creed-- Green Irish Tweed, Millisime Imperial, Silver Mountain Water, Tabarome. From Bond No, 9-- Andy Warhol Silver Factory, Wall Street, Bleeker Street, Hamptons. Montale-- Black Aoud, Bois Vanille. It's all perfume and it's all made for men!

BTW- Floris 89 is good stuff too, I can see why you like that one. If you like the citrus/lavender/sandalwood combo in that, give Prada a try. You can find that at Macy's and the girly's dig it.
